What's your Monday morning routine? Or are you more 'fly by the seat of your pants'?

Monday is USUALLY my happy day, when the kids return to school and I get some quiet. But today they are off still for Thanksgiving. (WTH?)

So my Mondays are usually spent tidying up, decompressing, and most importantly, I always strip my bed on Mondays.

I am enjoying my Monday morning peace and serenity... the kids are back to school. I have three hours left to enjoy the silence before the preschoolers get home.

I stripped my bed this morning. :) I usually do it on Friday, but because everyone was home, I forgot.

My routine was disrupted by a business owner friend of ours... he wants me to design a banner and billboard for his sports bar. YIKES! I've never done this sort of thing before. I'm in over my head. I did design his new menu (which after two weeks he is changing) and letterhead. *sigh* I will get this figured out!

Haha Monday morning is not what I would call peaceful here. Monday means get back to work for me - homeschooling in the mornings/afternoons, and my work in the evenings. I do always fit in some scrapping time and forum time early though before the kiddos get up and throughout the day whenever I get a quick break.

I am usually not a happy morning person and Mondays are no exception. I hit the snooze bar twice this morning even though I got a good nights sleep. I usually stay up late catching up on all my shows on Sunday, but last night I decided to skip Dexter. But at least Mondays are my easy day at work, so I don't dread them as much as other people do.

With a 5 month old, the routine is never the same. I dread Mondays a little since it's just me and the baby, but I usually get to feel caught up, too.

Monday just means back to work for me. It's usually a little painful to get up at 5:30 after getting to sleep in on Saturdays. But, my one routine thing is that Monday night when hubby gets home from work, I get to go grocery shopping all by myself. I'm supposed to also go to my Weight Watchers meeting but I've been skipping more than going lately. Sigh. The scale shows it too, darnnit!

No routine specific to Monday here. It's back to work and school and daycare for everyone. It's prolly the day of the week where I do the least since I do most of the household chores on the weekend.

On my weekly schedule I have Mondays set as "administration days" where I handle non-design tasks that have piled up. But more often than not that's just a dream, and I wind up having looming deadlines that take precedence. I *try* to catch up on emails and update my calendar on Monday mornings, though, at the very least.

And I work as a Chiro Assistant every Monday afternoon for a couple of hours. Talk to real life, tangible humans for a change. (And get out of my pajamas, and put on makeup)

And every Monday night is Scouts, so my evening is spent at a Scout meeting.

Then I'm back home to burn the midnight oil getting more work done! Usually prepping for The Digi Show, if necessary. We record on Tuesdays.

Mondays for me our pretty routine, since it means back to the office for this girl. Wakie... wakie, coffee, puter, shower and then to drop my daughter at school and me to work... Just a boring, same ole' Monday for me... :-)

Back 2 Work! Augh!!!! But after being off for almost 2 weeks, I was rippin' & ready to return to work and boy....there's a few piles on my desk today. I'm looking forward though to the weeks ahead as we get ready for Christmas and today I did a little shopping at DG (Dollar General) and got a few things to decorate the kitchen. Tonight I have the house to myself so I'm going to really get in the kitchen and clean it up and get rid of 'junk' that's been piling up in there.
