My family is in high gear with making their Christmas lists. What does your DH and/or kids want this year?

My DH wants a new lens, the Canon 15-85.
DD #1 is a teenager and thinks that cash would be great. (NOT happening!)
DD #2 wants the American Girl Kanani.
I think we are going to get an xbox kinect as a family gift.
I am hoping to get all of the big ticket things done this weekend.

Sounds like you know exactly what to buy this year Laura! I love that because it makes it so much easier than browsing the stores wondering what to get them :D Our trip to the US Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands is our "gift" for the entire family this year. Can't put a price tag on memories...so I'm sure I'll have tons of pics to scrap when I get back! Merry Christmas to me :D

DH and I are only doing small gifts this year because we both like to buy our own gadgets on black Friday. :).

The boys both want Ninjago Lego sets, Nerf guns and I'm getting them each an erector set for the first time. I think those will be a big hit. And I'm getting them a domino rally set and some plain dominos more as a nostalgia gift for myself. I loved setting up dominos to knock down as a kid and I think they will too. :)

My oldest wants a princess barbie castle, princess barbies and jump rope.
My youngest is only 18 months old so she can't tell me what she wants yet. Though I know she'll want everything her sister has :) Her big gift is a rocking horse that rocks and bounces.
They're getting a doll house as a combined gift.

DH and I aren't doing gifts this year. Instead we'll wait until January/February when we're in our new house and buy some stuff that we'll need/want for it.

hmmmm
teen daughter-redoing her room with new bedding, paint and accessories. New clothes
teen son-no idea yet
5 year old DD-Build a bear clothes, various toys
hubby-not a clue yet
ugh.

I have no idea what my nieces want yet! Hope to find out on Thanksgiving. We're try to keep it simple.

boys Legos
stella Littlest Pet Shops and Squinkies, though she wants everything hahah!
DH: he wants a jack and jackstands and a new socket set. totally boring.

DH and I got our gifts early....he got a new TV and I got a new camera. We also went on a Disney Cruise in October, so we are goin to have a relatively low key Christmas. We are getting the boys a Wii even though they have no idea what that is...I know they will both love it, especially Just Dance. My 2 year old is obsessed with pirates, so he will be getting a few pirate things, and my 5 year old will be getting some movies and toys from the Cars movie.

She listed a ton of Monster High things but she already has all the dolls out so she is not getting new dolls just to get new clothes for them. We got her a few of the accessories. She also wants an Ipod alarm clock/speaker/charger, Wii games, bigger razor scooter. I got her a bunch of cute accessories, jewelry boxes, soccer bag at justice. DH and I upgraded our cell phones.

hmmmm... let's see! We just moved into our new house and I bought a treadmill, so I doubt I will be asking for anything else. Hubby, well I'm really not sure what he wants either.

My oldest wants everything under the sun... lol! But what 6 year old doesn't. He actually wants a DS but I told him if Santa brings him a DS that that would be the only item he would get. So that changed his tune. lol!

My youngest wants the Rescue Heroes fire truck... easy enough!

My youngest wanted/needed a laptop a few months ago, so he talked us into paying a good portion of it for his birthday and Christmas gift. I've purchased him Ugg slippers, a cashmere scarf and a car wash punch card (for 3 deluxe washes) so far. He might get a few more gift cards, but the "big" gift is the portion for his laptop.

The rest of the boys are all getting Ugg slippers too, Car wash punch cards, gift cards, and I'm not sure what else. One really needs a new computer, but he'd be happy with a $500 laptop (unlike his younger brother who wanted an $1800 one), so I might do that for his big gift.

I'm pretty much stumped and they're not helping me much with what to get them. I'll try to do most of my shopping online though. I can't stand the crowds...except when I'm working. I like my store to be really busy!

DD wants u-draw and squinkies (and an ipod touch for her birthday the day before)
DS wants skylanders and lego harry potter 3DS game
not sure what DH wants, but he is getting a man-bag and some cool stationary as he is studying next year.
and I got myself a new coach bag from him
we are all getting an xbox kinect from santa

...and everything has been crossed off except the ipod, I will get that tomorrow. yay for getting all my shopping done.

My girls (4 and 6) have absolutely no idea what they want. I keep telling them they need to get on and write a letter to Santa otherwise he'll have to make it up. Actually, I think I've decided on everything they're getting so it's probably for the best. A leap pen for the little one, an atlas and a game for the elder plus some colouring books and sticker books and pink smarties.

I want a cute letter to put in my December Daily though :)

dh is getting a metre of jaffa cakes. He already bought a new kitesurfing board a few weeks ago as his Christmas present. Ironically, there's been zero wind since it arrived. I'm getting a book, I've already got my f1.8 35mm lens. I wanted it for indoor photos and I can't imagine anything more irritating that getting it at the END of December after missing all those opportunities!

I've done pretty much everything online too Debra. We'll make one trip into town one afternoon purely to see the Christmas lights but other than that I'm going nowhere near the crowds if I can avoid it.

We just moved into our house, so I doubt dh and I will exchange gifts, perhaps something like a couple new books??
The boys are 13 and 10 and it is all about electronics in their world... Lol!

Got DHs gift last week as me, my mom, and his mom all pitched in to get him a Horton Crossbow. He's an avid hunter and has no idea that we got what he wanted this year. I've got him convinced that I had no idea where I would come up with the $350 for a gift as we never spend more than $100 on each other. LOL

Me? I have absolutely no idea what I want. Just to make sure everyone has a great Christmas.

hummm...let see. DD wants a trampoline, my 2 year old would be happy with a few cars and hubby doesn't want anything but my wish list is long. :) I want a Canon 70d, a wide angle lens and external flash.

the boys both have new clothes and shoes on the tops of their lists. :dizzy Not sure where I went wrong with them...

my 7 year old daughter has asked for an i phone (not), an american girl (forget it), a dog (no way), and an older brother (really?). she is going to be sorely disappointed this year. my 4 year old wants everything she sees.

LOL Rachel!

My kiddos want legos, books, itunes gifts cards and video games.

I'm not sure what DH wants, he is so hard to shop for. I just bought him a bunch of running gear.

I want RadLab. And maybe an upgrade to my iphone.

Oldest (college) wants an iPad, 18 yr old wants video games and lots of New England Patriots stuff. Should be a fairly easy time this year.
