I just spent 3 hours today catching up on the ironing. I know a lot of my friends don't iron their clothes, but my mom is a big ironer so I guess I do what I know. I don't iron everything but probably half the tops and most of the bottoms that we wear.

Do you iron your clothes? or do you pay someone else to do it, or not bother?

nope. 99.9% of the time i don't other. my iron and ironing board sit in the corner, totally ignored.

on occassion i will iron the dress clothes if they need it, or if hubby is traveling for work, i'll touch up his clothes for him.

What is this ironing you speak of? LOL! If it needs ironing, it stays at the store!

Ha! I do not iron anymore. The first year we were here I ironed pretty much everything. But it's such a loss of time! Now I leave the stuff that needs to be ironed (DH's shirts mainly) in a basket for when my mom comes to visit. :blush :rofl

I hate ironing, so I don´t do it anymore. Last year I ironed almost everything, but I can waste my time better LOL

I don't iron. Dh WOULD do his own, but he waits until the morning and he's always running late so it's a big stressful ordeal. Also, he moves all the stuff that I pile on the ironing board, which is annoying. LOL. So, I take his shirts to the cleaners. And I buy him pants that don't need ironed. ;)

Nope, I'm not good at it and I don't like to do it. I try not to buy anything that needs ironing. I usually only bust out the iron for touch ups or crafting.

My iron is only for when I'm sewing - If DH needs a dress shirt ironed for church, he does it himself.. Well, maybe once every few months I'll do it....

i find that a damp cloth and a few minutes in the dryer with said wrinkly clothes works decent. then i can at least go on about my business while i'm waiting for the clothes to dry and i'm not at a total stand-still because i have to stop everything else and iron. boo.

We have enough humidity here that if I get everything out of the dryer promptly and hang it up all the wrinkles come out themselves! :yesss Occasionally though I will do DH's nice shirts. I also iron all my sewing projects.

I hate ironing! I avoid it as much as possible and I'm just terrible at it. I have a few summer dresses that have to be ironed - but with colder weather coming I won't be wearing those anytime soon! One more thing to love about sweater weather!

no ironing going on here. DH takes his clothes to the cleaners. me, i have nothing that needs it. lol.

so i guess i'm not the only one. I don't even remember when i ironed last. Since i'm home i don't really need ironed clothes. :)

That's what dryers are for, isn't it?! :giggle

I can't tell you the last time I ironed anything. 4 or 5 years ago, maybe?!

I don't iron either. If DH has something he needs ironed he does it himself.

We do have a steamer and I use that if something needs it. Not quite as good as an iron but it takes most of the wrinkles out.

Nope, I don't iron here either!! lol!! Probably cause I end up with more wrinkles..lol!

I used to have to do hubby's dress shirts for work. Now he has polos with the company name on them. Yay! no more ironing. I have a few shirts that need it in the summer.

I don't iron at all. I put it in the dryer at a hot setting for 5 minutes and if it doesn't look good after that - I give it to charity. LOL

Goodness, no! Well, just one pair of shorts that I have that are folded at the bottom and always get weird in the dryer. But that's all. DH only needs his special uniforms ironed and he does all of that when he needs to wear them.

I iron DH's shirts and pants for work, once a week (usually Sun. night) and always watch a show while I'm doing it to make it tolerable. LOL
