Pad Patter 11/16: New Tech Toys

I have an original Kobo (gave it to my mom) and an original Kindle but I read my books off my iPad mini as I like the backlight.

I am kind of dreading our contracts being up as the plans we have are no longer available, they have gone to these share plans and it will cost me $15 more per month than what I am paying now for the two of us. I may investigate the corporate plan through my work and see if I can do better or even switch providers.

Trista, I haven't been impressed with iPhones lately either. I stood in line to be one of the first with one in Denmark, but now I love my Nokia. I got it for the fancy camera, but I can't imagine going back to iOS now.

I can't think of anything I want for Christmas. I have everything? I have a MBP, an iPhone 6 and an iPad. I kinda want a mini but seems silly when I have an iPad and an iPhone already.

My love language is 'acts of service' so really I'd rather my husband do some work around the house as my gift, but sadly, that's not HIS love language. His love language is "buy my wife's entire Amazon wishlist because I was raised by Italian women and feel guilty about something, I just don't know what."

Lol Angie and Peppermint! :giggle I wish my hubby was raised by Italian women!

I am hoping to get a new iphone 6 if I get some cash for Christmas! I don't think my family members could figure out how to get that - they usually leave the gadget buying for me.

I love techie stuff. I am in the process of figuring out which to get...the Samsung or iphone. Here in Canada are plans suck. I spent a few hours at the store and then on the phone when I got home, talking to our provider about it. I am insisting that I won't drop down from 2 g of data to 1 and pay $30 or $40 more a month just to have the iphone. If I don't get a deal from them I think I'll go with the new Samsung. we were going to get ourselves a new pvr for xmas but when we called the guy to come check our lines he gave a newer one for free which has twice as much storage as the older one we had so we're good for awhile now. I know my hubs really wants a new tv for the living room but our's is only a few yrs old, it's a 40 or 50", something like that. I bet he'll be out looking on boxing day.
