Ever been to jail? Arrested? Detained? Time to come clean. :giggle

I've never been arrested myself, but I've been around when my mother was... multiple times. Mostly I was a little kid and they just called someone to get me. One time I spent the weekend in foster care because she was hours from home (I don't remember it, but I have pictures!). Once when I was 15 they did detain me for a couple hours until they sorted stuff out, but then they took me back home.

I've had an exciting life. :giggle

How about you?

Nope! I have however toured old prisons...does that count? ;-)

uhm, well, hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I will say yes.
but the whole story is written in the documents in California...and well
let's just say,
I wasn't always law abiding.
but how about football?

YES!! It was a freaking nightmare.. wasn't my fault…

I have never been in jail ... my hubby was in the city jail for a week when he was in high school - I believe he got caught driving one too many times without his driver's license. (I like to think I was the person that helped him turn his life around :giggle). He said it was terrible. And I am proud to say he is a law abiding citizen today! :thumbsups

nope, so far a speeding ticket is the extent of my experience with the law. clearly I need to get out more.

Nope nope, I think I would go NUTS!!!!! :tantrum

Nope, never. Like Ashley, speeding tickets are my closest encounter with law enforcement.

Well.... I got in "trouble", but I wasn't fully arrested. Almost. It was back during high school.... I was always super good, and didn't have the best home life, and think I just wanted attention. I learned I didn't like the attention and didn't want it, lol! Been good since.

I have been in jail, but not because I was arrested or had done anything wrong! I was in a Leadership class in our community - it raised awareness of all the different aspects of our area. On "Justice Day" we spent the day at the jail. Most of it was at the admin. building, but then we toured the juvenile detention center and then the jail. We had lunch in an empty cell block - the food was downright DISGUSTING!!! Scared me straight for the rest of my life! It was quite the day! The day was so eye opening, hearing testimonies from two inmates, and learning about the justice system in our area.

Never arrested, nope.

However, I did take a course on the legal system in college and had a full day tour of a maximum security federal penitentiary. We had very specific instructions from the wardens ahead of time. Women had to wear long sleeves and pants, as well as not wear our hair down if it was long due to the reactions from the inmates. The whole experience was strange almost to the point of being surreal. It was definitely one of the most unsettling days of my entire life.

Lord no. You cannot even imagine what a big fat goody-two-shoes I am. :giggle

DH was arrested a couple times in college for dumb bar brawl stuff, but not charged with anything.

Not really 'Arrested' but did stay behind bars until my friend's aunt picked us up. We did get in a lil' trouble, I was under-age, not hanging with the people I said I would be hanging around with, etc.

Lesson Learned Real Fast-Like!!!!

I've done the tourist visit to Alcatraz - that's the closest I've gotten.

Nope.

But my mom took us to the state pen to visit her friend once. I remember walking around in the yard, collecting matchsticks and waving to the guards in the towers. I'm sure they don't let kids do that these days. LOL.

My mom was arrested once though. She had a speeding ticket that went unpaid because we were poor. She got into an accident and then was arrested and had to spend the night in jail. I vividly remember that night because our dad came over to stay with us and brought his looney toons girlfriend (who proceeded to scrub her toenails with my mom's toothbrush). He also let us stay up and watch the Exorcist on TV, and I had a hard time sleeping after that.

My stepson has been arrested once, and my step-daughter should have been arrested multiple times, but has somehow not been. Ugh. She really needs to be to learn a lesson and turn her life around.

Nope. My license got suspended once because I forgot to pay a ticket for having my tail light out. I'm a rebel. ;)
