Sushi seems to be a love it or hate it scenario. I L:heartlubVE IT. All kinds, not picky at all.

But, it did take some time to get to that point. Once I realized not all sushi even contains fish at all, and even then it isn't all raw, I started experimenting more. Then I found out that raw fish actually tastes less fishy, because it's the cooking that makes it 'fishy'. I accidentally ate the raw kind one time, and loved it. Later when I found out it had been the raw, I was like oh... well then game on. That was great. LOL

My favorites seem to be ones with shrimp, though. My least favorite is any kind with a giant HUNK of fish, but I'll still eat them.

love, love, love, love!

any kind :) i've been eating it since i was in high school or college (i can't remember when the sushi restaurant opened up near us) and we have it weekly (at least) now. i love all kinds - but i don't really love when the rolls get toooooo fancy - i had one roll on saturday that had SO much sauce on it that i couldn't even taste anything else ...

My entire family LOVES it. We almost always go out for sushi on Saturday nights. My youngest is a huuuuuge sushi fan. She's been eating it since she was 2 years old. Sometimes she even asks for me to pack it in her lunch!

I've never tried it and I've heard lots of people say it's good. I guess it's just the thought of eating raw fish that keeps me away although if it's cooked I will try it! Now I wanna try it, lol!

I've never tried it either. The whole raw fish thing kinda scares me, but really it's more that the choice of whether to have sushi has never come up in my entire life. So weird, especially considering that I traveled for work for 4 years, eating every single meal in restaurants, with many different co-workers from diverse backgrounds, but not once do I ever remember anyone suggesting sushi. I don't even know where any sushi places are around here.

I feel like there must be some in Dallas. :giggle
:giggle Yeah, well, I'm actually about 30-40 minutes outside of Dallas. I'm sure there are some up here in suburbia too; they're just not on my radar. We usually only eat out about once a month, sometimes not even that often, and I'm afraid we're not adventurous enough to risk "wasting" that one time on something so unknown. DS might be up for it, but DD would completely freak, and DH would probably just veto it outright. :banned

I love sushi, but I usually go for the vegetable rolls. I'm not a big fan of the raw fish...not that I've ever tried them or anything. :)

No!! Just the thought of eating raw fish makes me queasy. I probably shouldn't have watched the "How It's Made" episode on sushi. That kinda did me in to ever wanting to try it, not that I was wanting to try it anyway LOL!

I always feel like I should like it because it's "grown-up" food ... but in reality, I can't stand the stuff ... uurrgghh!!! Sushi & olives. Can't stand either of 'um!

I have never tried it b/c I really don't know anyone living close that is willing to go with me. DH won't even consider it b/c he cannot stand cooked fish - never mind the uncooked kind. I am quite open minded and do tend to try new things. DH - that's a big fat NO! The man was 32 years old before he ever tried shrimp and he loves it now... but claims that one new thing in a lifetime is enough. LOL!
Since watching cooking shows I am way more adventurous with food than I used to be. There was a time I wouldn't even consider having sushi - now it is on my list of things to try. ;)

Oh, definitely yes! I first tried it a couple years ago but I was immediately hooked. I'm so looking forward to eating the raw stuff again after this pregnancy!

I'm a YES..I really love sushi. I will say this..location matters a lot when it comes to sushi. :giggle So I don't really get to enjoy it much where we currently live. We do like to partake when we visit San Diego. :beat

YES please!!!! and make it spicy please... and I've tried practically everything... hubby is a big NO though... so I only get to go out for sushi on girls night outs, sigh...

I get it for lunch. My sushi place has 2 small rolls and a coke for $10 for lunch. Woot. LOL

Oh yum! I'm the only one in our family that likes it. There aren't a lot of places around here that have it and I've kinda done my own with the help of Pinterest!
