My best friend was seriously a beauty school drop out. While she was in school, my hair was every color..from platinum with blue tips to burgandy and about an inch long! lol...I went thru a red stage...from Orphan Annie to a conservative Cherry for years....
Now the gray fights back, so I gave up and went salt and pepper...and today, my twin teens are having their hair dyed by a friend (also a Beauty School Dropout)....lol
One is doing an ombre with Cherry Coke Red to Black, the other is red with extensions the opposite of sister? That is the plan as they walk out the door!
So...................tell on? Is your hair color really YOURs?:giggle

Yep....I am a natural strawberry blonde girl. I do have it highlighted just on top every 18-24 months or so just to cover the gray a bit.

I did go MEGA blonde quite a few years ago but I like to keep my hair natural. Everyone always assumes that I color my hair and I have been stopped many times by people asking me what color I use on my hair! LOL I even got stopped in Sydney, while on vacation, who styled and colored my hair....ummmmm....it's natural people!!!

I'm a natural coppertop... well it really depends on the season. In the summer my hair is strawberry blonde, but in the winter it is a rich auburn color. I haven't had highlights in years, and still get asked where I have my hair highlighted.

I'm a natural blonde. I have tried being a red head just for fun but while it looked good with my green eyes, it just didn't suit my skin tone. My roots have definitely gotten darker (age? hormones? who knows) in recent years so I get those touched up from time to time. Sometime I would like to try some color streaks, maybe blue, but I haven't done it yet.

Absolutely!

The color that I dye my gray hair is exactly what my natural color used to be!

{does that count?} :flirty

Chestnut Brown with highlights of Gray! Yea....but only for another week then I'm going just plain Brown with some coffee/blonde highlights. Last time I colored my hair (about 3 months ago) my hair went way, way, waaayyyyy too dark brown (more like a black) and DH was not too thrilled as was I! I'll leave it to the professionals from now on!

My natural color is medium brown with red highlights. I've noticed the roots are coming in lighter and lighter which means I need to recolor much more often. So, next week we're going to try a med/dark blonde with lighter ashy blonde streaks. Then as my hair grows in we'll see how it all blends. The worst that will happen is that I'll go darker again a few weeks later if I don't like it.

My Aunt trained at Vidal Sassoon. I was her test dummy. My first perm was in 2nd grade ( age 7 or 8?). My natural Mexican/New Zealander hair color was a crazy mix of copper, gold, & strawberry blonde, but I have dark eyebrows. I've had every color under the sun. Since my Cruella DeVille grey streak came in, I've been dying it a copper color. It was amazing to see my sons born with my gold & strawberry blonde streaks in their hair. Jamie turned blonde at 2. Brody has dark brown hair with these gold unruly curls sprouting out. Genetics are amazing.

Mine is slightly chemically enhanced - highlights from 6 months ago. I kind of want to go really blonde, but I'm chicken, and broke, so who knows. I was blonder as a child, but it seems to get a bit darker every year.

Right now it's mostly normal with some darker lowlights. Mostly bc I'm overdue for a color bc my appts got all wonky. Usually in the winter I go dark brown with red highlights. I think I'm going to go a little darker with some caramel highlights this next time... November, I think.

I am a "non-beauty school drop out", who is a non-practicing cosmetologist - Hahaha - are you all still with me?! I have been nearly every color in the book I feel like (except all the really wild colorful ones...never cared for boldness). I am currently platinum blonde - all over color, mainly because, cost wise, I can do that one myself - just touching up my roots with some good 'ole professional color. I love me a good multi-toned blonde and rich caramel lowlights the best, and that will be my next color again when I can justify paying again for a full head foil, but for now I am taking the cheap route of doing it myself! It is fun to look thru my scrapbooks though - especially during beauty school and my years of working in the salon because each page had a picture of me with a different hair color. My husband teased that he never knew which "wife" he was coming home to back then - sometimes he'd get a blondie, sometimes a cherry cola read head, and sometimes a brownie!

I color my hair too. Mostly it started because I have a white stripe right in the front which shows badly whenever I pull my hair back and i hate seeing it. Now I'm starting to see gray here and there too. I go slightly lighter than my natural color because it keeps getting darker every year. In the summer I get a few highlights too. I have tried darker and lighter and red too along the way, but I prefer what I have now best. :)

My hair is naturally mouse poop brown. :hissy

I prefer for it to be blonde. My MIL usually gets me a GC for my hairstylist for Christmas, so hopefully, I will be blonde again soon.

I would looooooooooove to be a redhead, but alas, it never looks right on me despite my fair skin and green eyes. I was really hoping one of my kiddos would be a ginger (it runs on both sides of the family), but unless the baby's hair falls out and comes in red, I am outta luck there, too.

Nope I had my hair coloured last week to blonde before I went partying and let me tell you blondes do have more fun he he

Mine is my natural brown with red and grey bits (after messing around with some semi-permanent tone for a while) ... I am basically lazy, so I have decided to age gracefully :D

I like that!

Mine is brownish... sort of.... with some blond highlights. Though... I haven't seen my natural color more than an inch or so from the top of my head (and I need to color it) in 20 years. I color it, and it becomes a brownish red. It fits, plus my skin and freckles lend to the whole look. I've been this color for years.

A funny about my hair color. In college, I was blond. I met my husband - didn't get a second glance. About 2 weeks later, I went red... and he noticed me. I make fun of him all the time!
