Who does it at your house? Or are you lucky enough to have a service that does it for you?

We used to have a guy, but as gas prices went up, so did his and it just got ridiculous considering how often he came. Plus, I'm anal and I hated how they edged. So, we got rid of him. Worst idea ever, because now it's me.

I don't mind it mostly, but I hate cleaning up leaves. I need to spend this weekend getting that final mow done, leaves out for the Noo Noo, weeds pulled, etc.

To clarify, a truck comes by a few times each fall and sucks up the leaves if you leave them on the tree lawn. My husband called it the Noo Noo once, and I was like OMG IT *IS* THE NOO NOO so it totally stuck.

My DH does all the grass cutting, I would never be able to do it to his specifications. When we were first dating, we each owned our own houses and he took over the yard at MY house because I wasn't doing it right. :giggle

But I do the weeding and cutting back of plants. In the fall we both do the acorn picking up and leaf raking, although admittedly, I am only at about 10% helping of that job....but I do help *some.* ;)

I try not to do any yardwork because of my allergies. I do clean up after the dog, but the smell of cut grass makes me sneeze. Our yard is really a disaster though. Our weed wacker broke down in the summer and we we pulling out a lot of weeds by hand. And they're all still piled up out there.

my DH mows the lwan and cuts trees and oher big stuff... I do like planting new stuff and while at it, I remove the weeds. To be honest I can't wait for spring to be here (yuh I know! LOL) and work in the garden...although I'm due March 22nd...so not sure how that's going to work. The worst thing is that we have tonssssss of little & BIG frogs in the garden and they sometimes jump up and freak me out! LOL I do loooove bart though :D especially in his cute halloween outfit!

I hate yard work. It falls under the "it's the man's job" category in my mind :anyone

the problem is that DH also hates it, so in general, we are probably not going to win any 'yard of the month' awards. I love to have a pretty yard, but keeping it mowed and edged makes me happy. A few years ago, we got rid of the mulch in our flower beds and replaced it with lava rock which has been much lower maintenance. They are starting to be in need of some additional TLC, but it has been a good fix for us. I have a few perennials that come back every year to give us a bit of color occasionally.

Our neighboring town has a NooNoo... LOL!!! We don't... hubby gets all the joy of doing the yard work. I have an excuse... a bad back!

SInce I work from home, I am normally the one who mows the lawn. However, when it snows, I refuse to snow blow - that is all DH!

I don't do yardwork. At. All. Ever.

I have more than enough to do inside the house. DH can deal with the outside.

I don't like garden work ... but Hubby and I have an agreement ... he does outside and I do inside :D. Sometimes I will give him a hand if its a big job but I don't like it ... all that sunshine and fresh air (blurk). It's worked pretty well all these years!

I kissed a frog...

I don't do yard work.. hubby does the outside, I do the inside :)

My husband is the one who usually does the yard work. Since he's been TDY, I've taken it over. Thankfully, our mower is self-propelled. It makes it a bit easier since it essentially pushes itself. :giggle

My husband does all the yard work, at least all the backbreaking work. I help by telling where to plant what and occasionally I really love to mow.

We have a guy who comes once a week. He clears up the leafy junk and if we have grass worth cutting, he cuts it. Once in a blue moon I get possessed and haul out the shears and start hacking away at overgrown vines and bushes, but that is IT. I used to maintain the plants at the house I grew up in (one of the chores) and while I didn't mow, it was like a second job. I don't do yard work anymore.

We pay someone to do ours....always have. It would fall to DH because it's not my thing at all and he'd rather spend his free time off of work with the kids rather than working in the yard. The person we were using stopped coming regularly, so I need to search out someone new. There isn't really a lot that needs to be done here in El Paso, though....we don't get enough rain for grass to really grow.

I hate yard work. It's just not something I do. Hubby doesn't really do it either unless he has to. We hire out most of it thank goodness. My mom had such a green thumb and loved gardening and such. I didn't inherit that trait at all.

Joel mows and does everything with the grass. I do the landscaping stuff- pruning, trimming, wedding, planting, watering, etc.
