We sometimes dress up for halloween to match Bianca's costume. This year, we have a Halloween day at the Crossfit Gym. I am considering it, but not sure about it. Do you dress up? If you do, what have you been previous years?

Last year, Bianca was a magician and I was the magicians helper with the long sparkly dress. :giggle

Nope, no dressing up for me. The kids dress up (he will be Darth Vader, she & her friends want to be shelter puppies) and i will be glad to have gotten dressed at all that day by the time we get them to where they go ;)

I hate dressing up, but my team at work does a team themed costume every year! I lead the team of 16 people and feel like I should dress up to be a good leader, but they always pick themes that are more appropriate for a younger crowd. This year they picked the minions. I'm still trying to decide if I can get out of dressing up. I'm already going to traveling the first half of the week so it's going to be a busy week.

What do you think? Dress up or get out of it?

I'm such a scrooge. I don't dress up because I'm lazy and hate spending money. I don't even know what my boys are going to be this year, eek!

I dress up if I'm going to a party. My last costume was Doctor Who and before that I think I was Hit Girl. People get dressed up at my job too, but I'm more likely to wear a silly t-shirt and hat for work.

I haven't for a number of years. We used to go to Halloween parties but don't bother anymore. I'd rather hand out candy and see all the little ones in their costumes. Then we watch a horror movie on dvd/pvr. For past parties some of my fave costumes were baby, genie and maid.

I bought a plain witch costume one year (basically a long black gown with a hat) and some years I wear it and some years I don't.

I think I have to wear it this year because my daughter has decided to be a witch and I expect she is going to want me to dress up with her. LOL

If you are their leader, I would do black pants and top and a scarf and be Gru - go with it! (Especially since it's super simple!)

I do, but nothing too fancy. Last year I was my avatar. This year, Rosie the Riveter. :)

We never celebrated Halloween around here. It's simply somethign that was not part of the tradition here.
But the last years it has really punched in. We got an invitation for our very first Halloween eventing in our little city.
We want to participate, but are a bit wondering if the boys will not get scared?

Nope, I never do. I thought we were going to have to dress up for the party we might go to, but it's not a dress up one. :)

We're not big on Halloween here in the uk,thank god it is one celebration I can honestly say I'm not keen on so apart from a bit of trick or treating round the people we know we don't do anything
