What was the best thing from this past weekend, and what was the worst?

The best for me was no huge fights with the kids.

The worst was realizing I didn't get my school board application in on time and feeling like I disappointed half the community.

Best:

My Husband making sure the little one stayed downstairs for 30 minutes, so I could have an uninterrupted soak in a hot bath with candles lit and a lovely LUSH bath bomb, that left heart shaped confetti floating around the water!

Worst:

Not seeing my parents as they are both poorly with rotten coughs and colds, I have a very low immune system due to the injections I have to take, and they didn't want to pass me their germs

best: spending the time with just my husband and kids after a long holiday with the extended family.
worst: packing my dh for a business trip :(

Best: Looking forward to returning to our daily routine Monday morning.

Worst: Sometimes there's just no words for how P.O.'d I get with DH. That Is All. (I always love him but ooooooo......I could just scream sometimes! LOL)

Best: Shopping for hours on Friday afternoon with my Boden (we shopped for new Christmas trees). He was so well-behaved (I mean really - he's a 6 year old boy and what kid that age wants to shop for 6 hours for a Christmas trees?) and we had supper together and it was just great.

Worst: The weather was awful (bitterly cold) and we were supposed to go see my mom this weekend, but she didn't want us travelling home Sunday so we had to stay home.

Best: It snowed it enough for the kids to go sledding.

Worst: I am sick. Like stay in bed with a box of tissues sick. Blah.

Best: Hanging out with my little sister and niece. She is so stinkin cute!

Worst: Having to work most of the weekend.

Best:
Lunch with some former & current co-workers, drinks with my best friends, time with my cute little baby niece

Worst:
Little bit of sniffles has turned into nasty sinus infection. I feel so gross. Stayed home from work today.

Best:
Finally met my psychiatrist after 3 months! I miss talking to her and having a non-judging listener.

Worst:
Caught in a heavy rain while going to the hospital & back home. I took the bus and was 30% soaked.

Best:
My husband and I had to go pick out upholstery fabric for our dining room chairs. I really dreaded it. But the place they recommended to us was AMAZING! It was in an old wallpaper factory...three floors of room after room of fabric of all kinds all the way to the ceilings (plus a room of nothing but trims). Once we picked out our fabric, we wandered aimless through the aisles for a while. Even my husband who normally isn't into this sort of thing was caught up in it all. I want to go back... but I need an excuse!

Worst:
Our drive home through Michigan in heavy snow on Saturday.

Best - Applebee's on a whim with my man
Worst - Hubby & I feeling trapped in the house due to cold weather & being broke. HA!

Best- Celebrating my son's 14th bday and just relaxing with my family after all the chaos of the holidays.

Worst- It turned bitterly cold, but without enough snow to make it worthwhile.

Best: Getting to see Saving Mr. Banks (finally)

Worst: Sunday. Despite watching 8 different movies, I still worked 12 straight hours sorting ornaments.

Best - playing board games with the kids every night

worst - good friends who were supposed to be visiting couldn't make it :(

Best - having the air-conditioning on in the bedroom so I could lounge around and read most of the weekend

Worst - being in the middle of an AWFUL heatwave that could have done me in if I didn't have the aforementioned Air-con running :D

Best: getting Friday night to myself: scrapping and watching 'The Way Way Back'

Worst: everyone becoming restless and stircrazy & driving me bonkers :dizzy

Best: Blackhawks game on Sunday night, awesome seats.

Worst: Walking 4 mins to get to the entrance of the Blackhawk's game.... temp -2F.
