Okay girls! DH and DS#2 think I rule when it comes to cooking since I made them homemade cheese dip! Then they were talking about how they prefer that I cook than eat out. Totally loved the conversation but it won't change anything when I want to eat out!

So....brag on yourself and tell us what your family just raves about you!

My kiddos are always telling me I'm an awesome cook too! I don't know that I am at all above average, but I do love to cook for them. (definitely not more than eating out tho, but we don't eat out much!) Like today I made choc chip cookies for them and they were all telling me I'm the best mommy ever. And Carter told me I was the "best cooker in the world" because I made jell-o. LOL - I never make jell-o so apparently he thought it required skill!

Cooking/Baking is something my kiddos rave about... little miss went into raptures over the home made roti yesterday... lucky me and her since thats what was making up part of her first day back at school lunch today!

And my Aunty made my day yesterday with a lovely message on facebook... admiring my pages I have been creating for the challenges here... she surely made my day...

Same here. My kids and DH talk up my cooking quite a bit. I try a new recipe on them at least once a week and I'm just happy I don't have picky eaters - they are all willing guinea pigs.

Cooking (though in my opinion DH is a better cook) and baking. And my mad organizational skills.

I have been raving about Laura's BLT dip for 2 days now.

my kids love my spinach cob loaf dip - they tell everyone about it and are always begging for it :)

Yep cooking here too!

Hubby's friends have always enjoyed boys night at my house as I cook them up a storm!

One friend who calls me his wifey even brings his own container to take home leftovers! LOL

I love cooking and don't get to do as much of it as I would like or used to due to my chronic illness, so it's great when I do and everyone loves it!

Um, well, not cooking. :giggle Mainly it would have to be my mad Photoshop skillz. :wooot Comes in handy for lots of school projects, and DH likes having his own in-house graphic designer. He's always having me do web stuff, photo retouching, advertising, flyers, business cards, event programs, etc.

DH is impressed that I know how to use a pair of scissors. Not kidding at all. Doesn't take much to impress him. Which is lucky for me I guess.

my kids too are always saying i'm the best cook and they would rather eat at home than eat out. i don't get it though because i really don't think i'm all that great. but whatever. as long as they are happy i guess. i just wish i actually LIKED to cook. wouldn't that be nice?

I don't think anyone in the family raves abt me, but what they SHOULD rave abt is that I cook almost every night of the week, including making it GF, I keep everyone organized, I remember everything, & I don't throttle them in their sleep when they leave their crap all over the floor! :giggle

I think the only things I'm valued for around here are clean underwear and getting knots out of shoelaces. Oh and "can you drive me to...?".

I'll go with the popular answer and say cooking too. John's forever saying its all my fault he weighs what he does!

Oh, and he always severely talks up my job. I tend to downplay it a bit when people ask what I do and tell them I'm an administrative assistant at a national laboratory. He's the one that butts in and tells them I'm the executive assistant to the director of the lab. It's a little embarrassing, but I appreciate that he thinks I'm so important. It's honestly just a job I enjoy to me!
