Pad Patter 1/24: The Dentist

It does not bother me too much. But Kenzie was traumatized by a dentist about age 6 and it has taken us years to get where she is not scared. Up until this past year she was afraid of the cleaning and would not open her mouth for them (but did the xrays, teeth check, etc fine). Last time she had a turnaround and let them do everything and I just took her today and it was fine. But she still said "I hate going to the dentist" right before we left.

Awww Renee! No one can blame you about feeling skittish after that bad experience.

Well I've talked about my aversion to the dentist in some chats here, so it's not news to most of you I'm guessing. I hate it. I can't stand having my teeth scraped. It's like nails on a chalkboard for me. I deal with it though because I know having cavitieswill be much worse. I don't get sedated when I go, I just act like a big baby about it. LOL
