Did you make any NY Resolutions, and if so, how's it going? I read that 3 weeks is the typical lifespan of a resolution. lol

I don't really make them, but I did vow to get rid of a ton of my clutter this year. I was going really well over winter break but I kinda halted a bit here now that school started back for me. But I'm determined to press ahead, even if it's just a small bag a week!

I decided to try harder to date my LOs. It's going well. Small resolution = big success. :giggle

No resolutions for me. It's easier for me to try to reach smaller goals, like a week or month at a time.

I don't really have a resolution, but mine are more like little life goals. Something I want to change or add into my life for now and in my future, really. When I think of resolutions, I think I'm setting myself up for failure, lol! This year's life goals are to try to eat more veggies, drink 12 glasses of water a day, and be more active with my kids - do things, have fun, and make more of an effort.

I rarely make resolutions, but this year I did. :)

My 2 are to take better care of my nails/cuticles and also wear more lipstick. That sounds weird I realize, but I have to dress up everyday for work and I always feel unfinished without lipstick, but I'm also not a fan of wearing it (I look like an idiot). I bought one that I'm loving and I wear it at least 3 days a week to work, plus to church. So I'm doing well on that one.

I'm trying hard on the nails one too. Got my first ever gel manicure the other day and bought a cuticle oil pen. My cuticles are freaking glorious right now.

Both of these are inspired by my grandma. She passed away as a result of ALS in November. She was a dressy lady, always wore lipstick and always, always had her nails done, and she was always on my case about chewing my nails and cuticles. So I'm kind of honoring her by doing both.

diet and exercise were mine ... diet good/excercise not doing so great ... and i have to be in a bathing suit in about 2 months so you'd think that was motivation enough?!?! apparently not!

This is wonderful! I love the reasoning behind your changes.

PS... What is the cuticle oil and how often do you apply? Does it make your hands feel greasy?

I started going wheat free and predominately grain-free, too, on January 1st. So far, so good. I still make a good green juice most days (started that in July) and now eating way more whole foods and veggies. Haven't lost any weight, but I bet my blood and cells are happier.

That's so sweet :wub

Gel manicure will screw your nails up, though. :(

I realized this after I'd had it done. :( The worst part is I took Ella with me and did a gel mani on her too! Crud. They look SO nice right now though. Not looking forward to getting it taken off.

mine were making my bed every day. . .so far so good, except today :whistle
and not living out of a laundry basket, actually putting my clean clothes away where they belong--that one is meeting with success. :thumbsups

Trying to stay positive and not get sucked into negative so far so good also.

My resolution was to get through MOC :) I am two layouts behind so guess am doing ok on mine :)

resolutions for me are like setting me up to fail.
I do have things I'd like to accomplish, like the simple things, clean my house, plant some flowers, set up an office, seal the grout and maybe hang a few pictures. We've been here almost a year now, we can put a nail hole in the wall I think, lol.

But no pressure with the big "r" word, lol

I will have to come back in a month or two...early days but I am doing relatively well.....the one thing I really, really am not doing any progress in ..is in eating well- I rather not think about it now LOL

I don't really make resolutions but I am trying to not shy away from invites for parties and stuff like that. I like a good party but sometimes after a long work week I just don't feel like going out... So I'm trying to not to be such an introvert. ;)
