Minimalist. We almost always rent places that have a washer and dryer so it's just the deciding. Lots of black and neutral colors and shoes are there for comfort and durability. In summer, I only take my black Skecher sandals and tan sandals.

This last trip was a packing failure for me because I packed too many wool sweaters and not enough long sleeved cotton t's. I just didn't have the energy to hit the London shops for what I was missing during the Christmas rush. I also know now that I will never travel without my gray fleece vest...well unless it's AZ in August!

I'm pretty good these days with keeping thing at a reasonable level and then at the very last second, I'll grab a handful of underwear and shove that in. Apparently I have some fear of running out of underwear. It may be genetic though... my mom gets so frustrated with my dad because he pretty much packs his whole sock and underwear drawers for each trip, no matter how long or short the trip is. :giggle

I'm in the middle... I used to overpack by leaps and bounds. As time went one, and most places either have a washer/dryer or some type of store, I don't stress as much! If anything, I might overpack on undies and socks. Usually I pack at least an extra outfit and one pair of shoes. Most of my stuff is versatile enough to work together, and many of my clothes are black. :)
