P365'ers

Are you using templates or making scrap pages with your photos?

I'm kind of stuck in deciding which template I want to use... I guess I have a little bit of time left. lol! Show me what you're using!

I am curious about this too. I started P365 last year but didn't finish. I am going to start it again tomorrow but last year I fell really behind scrapping them and that was discouraging. I feel like if I have a ton of really good templates on had I would be able to keep up with it all better. I am super excited to see what you all are planning to use.

Some great inspiration is coming next Friday with the Jan. BYOC! I've tried out one set of templates and I'm loving it - I'd most likely be going with those if I were doing it digi. :) In fact, I'm seriously contemplating going back to finish the 20-ish weeks I'm missing in 2011 with those templates!

I am going to use templates I made last year (but never used for my own layouts). I think I can adjust them to more/less photos where I need to, and they have small spots where I can add papers and so on. I think it could work. lol

I can't wait to see what's coming out! :)

i made my own templates for 2011. i made a variety of 12x12 templates and saved them in a folder so i can just pick whichever one i want to use for the photos i have for that week. it's worked really well actually.

anyone else? what have you used in the past? i do like amber's but looking at options for the moment. i made some for previous years (that never got used); however, i think i set them up with the photos too small - it is a photo thing, afterall! lol.

I'm using Val's Pockets No. 3: The Basics to start off with since it makes it so easy to just slip in a photos, papers, journal cards, etc.

I did P365 in 2010 all digital. I used the same template for each two-week spread, usually flipping it one way or the other. This way each spread you looked at had a similarity yet there was variety over the year so I didn't feel bored. The second week of each spread was really easy since I'd already made all the customizations the week before.
My whole 2010 album is here: http://www.myscrapbookart.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=704

By the end of the year I was happy with my decision, I liked the variety.

This year I'm trying Project Life for a P365 album, so it's going to be a TOTALLY different experience. I'm ready to get back to playing with paper though, so I think it will be perfect.

I'm going with templates, although I'll add some regular pages in there now & then, about a special subject...or photos that just need to be scrapped. I already finished week 1 & 2, cause I started on Dec 20th...the day after Lina turned 1. I made her a 1st year album and doing P365 for her 2nd year. I used Val's pockets No.3 with Sara's awsome templates... I'm thinkin of creating something myself too. BUT I won't be using the same template or design each week... Will do 2 pagers, with dif. stuff each time. You can check my gallery for the 1st 2 weeks :)
