If you decided to do P365/Life/P52 this year...have you stayed with it?

I am so happy that I've only missed 1 day so far this year...and my DD was really sick at the ER that day, so I have a good excuse! As of tonight, I am completely caught up on my Project Life album. I love it even more than I thought I would. I can see this photo-a-day thing being a permanent habit for me. Yay!

Way to go Laura!!! Isn't it a little bit fun?! I am three months into my second year of course, and I am struggling. :( I thought it would be no problem, but I am lacking the time to get creative, and I feel like I don't have anything new to take more pictures of. :( I need some good outdoor weather to get outside! My 1st quater photo files for 2011 are pretty boring. No big events, no dynamic pictures really - just everyday stuff, which I know will still be great to look back on, but still....

I'm still hanging in there and loving it! I'm not being strict with myself about taking a photo a day but I am making sure I do have at least 7 photos for my project life album at the end of the week. I am going through my holiday pics now deciding which ones are going in the album and then getting them printed tomorrow. Fun fun fun!

This has been such a great project and I am happy to say I am still keeping up with everything. It helps that I am not pushing myself to get one picture a day, just 7 for the week. So far it is working great for me.

I'm still going strong too :) Well, I am taking photos every day, more or less - like Kaye I'm not that worried if I cheat a little and borrow a photo from another day! I've been using Oh Life to record my journalling and that's about as far as I have got so far. At some point I need to spend some time adding everything to layouts / an album but I'm happy knowing that I have everything there to use!

I am still hanging in there. It has been a little hard at times, especially when we had the flu around here and when we went out of town. It seems if I get even a couple days behind it's hard to get focused again but I have only missed a couple days. I am still really enjoying the whole thing. This is my second year doing it.

I wanted to share this with ya'll in case you haven't heard of it. It's a website that Katrina Kennedy is doing and it's completely devoted to Project 365. I subscribe to the weekly and daily emails and the daily emails have a prompt and idea for that days picture. I really like something to inspire me for those days that I feel like I am capturing the same ole thing. We aren't to exciting around here so I need all the help I can get.

I am sticking with it and loving my pages so far. I think that I have missed a day or two here or there, but have had an idea for a "make up" picture that I have managed to grab. I am loving that I am scrapping them (i.e. getting them on to a page and ready to print) but am not worrying about embellishments, etc. I got behind a couple of weeks at one point and was feeling the pressure to get caught up or I might never get going again, but am current again and am so thankful I took the plunge this year!

I'm glad that everyone seems to be hanging in there. Amanda, I really liked that site you shared...so full of good ideas!

I decided to treat myself to a Canon Selpy ES40 last Monday. It's really helped my work flow in keeping me printed & up-to-date. The print quality is excellent...and the machine is so cute. LOL

I'm keeping at it too. I don't have any problems taking the photos, but scrapping them takes me forever! I've only done 8 weeks of LOs so far, so I'm 4.5 weeks behind but I won't give up! :) After finishing 2009, last year gave up after 6 weeks and I hate not having a book to look at, so I am fully motivated to catch up!

i'm keeping up with the pictures, but NOT with the album. i have not gotten past february with getting the pics into layouts or prints or whatever. nada. i need to devote a weekend to getting caught up... if i can ever find a weekend that's open... which would mean getting the house unpacked & put together first. blah.

sooo sorry to have fallen off the face of the earth in the P365 posts. i will do my best to get caught up here & there as i can!

okay ladies, i am STILL no further on getting the pictures scrapped than i was a month & a half ago when i posted above. i've still got pictures for almost every day, but only have the 1st 8 weeks compiled. my problem is, i know myself, and if i get too far behind (if i'm not there already) i will really have a hard time getting caught up. like, i may just abandon it altogether. and i DON'T want to do that!

what approach are you girls finding that works really well for you? i might need to rethink my plan, i don't know.

I'm behind as well. I'm still taking pictures almost every day (I'm not worried if I use several pictures from one day in my album though!) but haven't put very much work into my PL album. It's our task for this half term holiday!

kate, are you doing yours with digital layouts? or are you printing pictures? just curious.
i think next year i might do printed pictures and see if that goes better. i like the idea of printing the pics each day and just sliding them into the album. i just don't know how realistic that actually is.??
i'm glad i'm not the only one behind. i'm just hoping i don't STAY behind! buying / selling a house and moving just did me NO favors on this. :(

Umm, just printing pictures and I'm behind on that too..... I don't print at home though, I think that makes a big difference. I am going to try to get up to date (ish!) over the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed!!

Using oh life has been really good though, I take 5 minutes in the evening to jot down what happened in the day and that really helps when it comes to doing the journalling.

well i had no idea oh life existed, but i just signed up. looks like a fab way to keep track. i also use my blog for that, but i don't blog EVERY day, so it's not fail-safe.
