Well, this is officially our last full week of living in Michigan. The movers come on Monday to pack, load Tuesday or Wed, and move out the next day. I feel like I have so much to get done, but we are oh so close!! Now, if someone would just come buy this house from us!!!!

I'm getting excited!
 
Where are you in Michigan now? My sister is trying to find a nice place in Sterling Heights.... :)

You can do it!! It's hard to say good-bye but new adventures are so much fun. Good luck. I hope it all goes smooth sweetie!

lauren, we're heading to Ohio. Not SOO far, but far enough that it's not a quick trip back & forth.

Karen, we are just south of lansing, so we wouldn't be much help for sterling heights. sorry :(
 
Good luck selling the house!

I hate moving--we always lose stuff(a box of dishes, the garbage can, a vacuum...)
 
Good luck Rebecca! So sad you are leaving MI (we are over just West of Grand Rapids), but totally understand. Is it due to our crappy economy here?! Good luck selling your home - we just put ours on the market, but we just move within our own little town because my husband is a builder.
 
Good luck with everything! I know how stressful this time is, but at least it is almost over. Agree with you on the house too, ours has been on the market since February and only one person has come by to look at it!
 
best of luck! I wish there were easy ways to sell a home... when we sold our last home,it took a bit longer than expected... we had 2 mortgages for 3 months... OUCH!

MandaKay, unfortunately it IS because of the junkity economy up here. The company my DH works for closed the plant here in our little town. He has been transferred to corporate, which is in the Toledo area. So off we go.
 
Oh man Rebecca - isn't that a bummer! I sure hope the economy picks up again here soon! Everything is bound to get better as some point!

Good luck selling your house, sweetie! We had a nightmare of a time with ours too, I hope that yours sells quickly and that your move goes off without a hitch! :)
