ouch.......is all I can say, the 27th December I was walking from the kitchen to the dining room to call the children down for the their dinner and smacked my toe into a brick wall, crack went me toe, I have never cried like a big baby in such a long time, wowzer the pain, within 4 hours it had blown up like a big balloon and started turning blue and all funny shades of purple.
turns out I have broken my toe.....and what do they do for broken toes, nothing, just pain relief and foot rest.

Feel so sorry for myself as my car is in the garage having some repair work done after an old bint reversed her car into the die of mine and we have a posh big hire car for a few days and can I drive it..........nope, makes it worse as I can not stand hubby's driving.....boohoo.

Plus side is I get to sit around and watch films a little longer and hubby has to fetch coffee's and biscuits for me.........lol

My daughter broke a toe by kicking a chair while she was dancing in the family room and they gave her a "boot." I think we wrapped it too. (It was a couple of years ago.)

I hope you feel better quickly!

Ouch! I feel your pain. I broke my toe about 10 years ago and have dislocated that same toe numerous times. After 3 years of no incidents, I banged it into my bed on Thanksgiving. One ER trip to put it back in place and have been wearing a boot for it until just recently. I can now wear a shoe but still limp a little. All I can do is buddy tape my toe until it fully heals.

Ouch!! My dad used to break his toes all the time on the brick surrounding our fireplace...he finally had it torn out!! Hope you have a speedy recovery and take the down time to scrap this month!!

Pity and hugs for you. I smooshed my toe a couple of months ago, right in the middle of Lili's AJ challenge. At least I got to scrap about it...

Oh yes going to be trying to get my mojo back with this MOC, been out of scrapping for awhile due to having poorly children last year, hoping 2016 is going to be a much better year, well be once son has had a small operation, then we can get things moving in the right direction.

So sorry :(
Resting with feet up sounds like a good idea to me. Here's wishing you a better new year!

Yikes, that's awful! I hope it heals quickly (but hope you can get some scrapping time in for your down time).

That really is an ouchie. I find toe pain is that takes-your-breath-away-and-makes-you-nauseated kind of pain.

I've broken mine back in my gymnastic days and I still feel a little queasy thinking about it. SO.SORRY.

Let that DH wait on you for a bit and scrap away! *hugs*

Oooh, reading that made me scrunch up my toes in sympathy :( Get well soon and enjoy being waited on :beat

Ouch. What a pain in the ...foot.

I broke my toes about 8 months ago when I got tangled in a clothes drying rack and came off worst - and they are still not right. (Sorry, that wasn't very helpful was it? Hope yours mend quickly)

Yikes!! and OUCH! No fun and hope you heal quickly!! In the mean time, enjoy being waited on and watching your films :)

so so sorry about your toe, but glad you can be treated like a queen :) gotta look at the positive side of a negative I say :)

Owies! I hate that about toes, that there is nothing they can do. I hope it heals quickly!

Ouch! I stubbed my toe, but just the nail broke. I'm so sorry your whole toe broke!that sounds so painful.

Milk the biscuits as long as you can!

Donna, i t had been a while since I saw your beautiful layouts passing by, but reading this: no fun at all.
I know rom my uncle broken toes stinks and it takes a while...
