I was talking to a colleague the other day about her weekend. She stated she had a cookout but it was way to cold outside for her. I on the other hand thought the weather was great! It was partly sunny and around 75degrees. I thought it was perfect. I mean obviously not warm enough for swimming depending on the pool, but very nice to sit outside or do other activities. At least for me lol.

So what is your favorite kind of weather? Do you like it hot? Or when it’s snowing and a chill in the air? I would love mid seventies all year round.

I like it hot. I struggle in the cold and hate a/c. I only use a/c if it is extremely humid. As I have gotten older, I feel the temperature changes more. As a child and even in my 20's/30's I didn't mind cold weather that much. Heck, even in my 40's I'd be outside with the dogs when they would be playing in the snow. In the last 15 years, I feel the weather much more.

I think I have figured out why. I've been digging into side effects of medicine since my cardiologist wants me to go back on a statin. I was always sick when I was on a statin before. I had so many of the side effects that I no longer have since I took myself off 6 years ago. I am on one medication from the cardiologist and I started looking at the side effects after I was told by the prosthodontist that I have dry mouth. They told me in June that it was a side effect of a medication that I was on last November for a sinus infection. I questioned why was I still having the dry mouth for a medicine I hadn't been taking for 6 months. Well, it turns out it is a minor side effect of the one medication I am on. And, another minor side effect of that medicine... "feeling unusually cold" or "chills". Yep, I started on this medication for my heart in 2008 which is when I started feeling the coldness of air more.

I am glad that I know why I'm always cold now!

Years and years ago, I read a study about optimal temperature. Researchers, in that study, stated that the optimal outdoor temperature for the human body is actually 78 degrees. I’m cold blooded, so I’m sure I would be more comfortable at 80.

High 70s depending on how sunny it is and if there's a breeze. I'm the fool sitting on the beach in 90+ degree weather wrapped in towels b/c there's a breeze and I'm freezing.

Mid 70's sounds great to me too! If there's shade and/or a nice breeze, I'm good up to mid/upper 80's. :)

I like it hot!! 75 is great for running around and doing things outside, but I'll take hotter if I can. I do not tolerate cold well at all, and by cold I mean like 50 and I'm freezing :giggle. I'm already dreading colder days.

:rollin Oh, this made me laugh!!! But yes, 2 degrees can make a difference.

I can remember being in Iraq and hitting 120+ degree weather. When I walked into a tent that was reading 90 on the thermometer, I had to put on a sweat shirt. I guess the temperature difference between outside and inside makes the 90 inside feel COLD!

I like it cooler so the bugs go away so 65 and sunny is ideal for me.

I think the 70's are perfect and I'd choose 80's over 60's. Warmer is better! I spent my first 29 years in southern California so I'm used to the heat. Now I've been here in Virginia for 22 years and have learned how to deal with 50's and below for months at a time, but I much much much prefer the warmer half of the year.

My thyroid is broken so I'm always cold in A/C. I'm perfectly comfortable in a house sitting at 82....which drives my family nuts!

Vegas broke my temperature regulator for heat. So, for the first year after I moved I was wearing sweatshirts at 75 degrees. Now, I've found my Canadian roots, and I've adjusted. Sweatshirts don't come out until about 60 degrees. And at 35-40 degrees- then I need a coat.

I used to always say that I wanted it to be 85 and sunny all year long, now I'm more along the lines of 65-75 and sunny all year long. I really love the fall when it's still nice outside, but cool enough to need a sweatshirt. That's my favorite. :agree

I am usually cold, so I like it a bit warmer. I love 75, but my ideal is pry 80. I'm good between 65-90 usually... and add layers if I get a little chill. I can tell you, I am not a lover of below 40. Fall is ok... but at times BRRRRRRR!
