... and it was a big one! It was yesterday 25 years. Hubby forgot too, should I even bother doing something this weekend. LOL!!!!

Oh no!!!! At least you BOTH forgot! I'd surprise him with something - 25 is a big one!

That's what I thought, like around 9pm both of us started laughing and screamed happy anniversary. His mom sent us a congratulations text. LOL!!!!!

Happy Anniversary! :giggle

At least you both forgot!
As for celebrating... do something easy, something you both enjoy.

:rollin
Happy Anniversary!

For our 25th anniversary we went on a trip, stayed at a nice hotel 4 nights, dinner at nice restaurants & lots of sightseeing. If you want ideas, I mean.:lol

How cool! We are doing a vow renewal. I'm browsing for a dress that's not too "bride-y" but not frumpy Mother of the Bride dresses!

Thanks, too late for a big thing, plus we need to start paying for hockey.

Happy Anniversary! :giggle

I was thinking of baking a GF chocolate cake.

I thought of that for a while about 5 years ago and then I was like "forget it too much planning".

Congrats on half a century! Give him a roll of quarters and say here's to 25 more! lol.

OMG.... I might do this! LOL!!!!!!!!

Simple, cheap, and fun! Plus, if you have something nearby that takes quarters (arcade, casino, etc.) you could make a date and go spend them. Tell him it's a throwback to when you started your relationship. :agree

Happy anniversary and I'm the "family reminder" for anniversaries, etc. My DD can't remember hers, so she depends on me to remind her.

Hahaha Happy Anniversary!! DH and I go back and forth every year because neither one of us can remember if ours is the 17th or the 19th of September lol. To this day, I have to Google which one of those was on a Friday in 2004.

At least you both forgot. LOL. I think you should do a little something. 25 years is awesome!

I've never forgotten our anniversary but I have forgotten how many years we've been married. This year it will be 23 (next month) and I kept telling everyone it was 22. Hubby had to correct me. I don't forget because our anniversary and birthdays (his and mine) are all within a week of each other. It's usually a big celebratory week.

Happy Anniversary! as for the celebration, what about a nice food with red or white wine and then watch a movie, or dance.
We danced for an hour in our last anniversary, he said, it was a great way to keep ourselves in shape and it was fun, and I enjoyed so much.

I have never forgotten our anniversary but I have forgotten birthdays and on the wkend I mixed up the date for Father's Day and thought it was this past Sunday so bought hubs some dessert and a marinated tenderloin for dinner. He enjoyed the dinner and then this wkend he gets another special dinner on the actual Father's Day :)

Happy Anniversary Dalis.. at least you both forgot... we did a trip for 25... in 2 weeks we will celebrate 30... if it wasn't for the covid we would have done another trip, but will go to a nice restaurant this year.

Happy anniversary Dalis! It's kinda funny that you both forgot! Our anniversary is on the same day as our oldest son's birthday. So I just figure out how old he is and add two years. Lol. I joke that I gave him the best anniversary present ever and he "gave" me an epidural... equally awesome. :rofl

Hope you guys can find something fun to celebrate. 25 years is a big deal! :agree

July 13 is easy for me to remember but I keep forgetting how many years we've been married. I have to calculate in my head every time I think about it. We celebrate 26 years next month!

Happy anniversary!
