one thing you would like to know

I'll go along the lines of @tanteva and want to know what happened to the DB Cooper guy who jumped out of the that plane with ransom money and just disappeared. There have been several people now who have come forward saying they knew who it was and my hubby has watched several documentaries about that and it would be cool to have that mystery solved. LoLol.
Oh, yes! I'd love to know that too! Such a crazy story.

I've had to think about this for awhile. And, I finally thought of something specific that I would really like to know.

1. Did my great-grandmother ever divorce my great-grandfather before running away with a man she claimed she was married to when she died several years later? I'm of the opinion that there was no divorce since he lists his marital status as "Widowed" on the marriage license to his 2nd wife.

2. Why did my great-great-grandfather (father of great-grandmother mentioned above) leave his family in Ohio and move to Virginia. He had been MIA in my genealogy research for a long time and I happened upon a newspaper article that stated after receiving a divorce from his wife in Ohio, he got a marriage license to marry a young lady in Richmond, Virginia. They went on to have 1 daughter of their own. His wife passed away after being married 19 years and he is listed as her husband on the death certificate.

3. What happened next with great-great-grandfather? He was not the provider of information for his wife's death certificate. It was her mother. The census was the following year and I could not find him on the census. So I looked for the daughter who would have been around 16 years old and she was living with her grandmother and uncle (mother's brother) and his wife. No mention of her dad. So the long elusive E.H. Wren has disappeared AGAIN!

All this in a 20 year period from 1900 to 1920 which was before records were standardized in most states.

Otherwise, I would like to know other genealogy information that a cousin and I have never been able to find on the parents of our ancestor (our 3rd great grandfather on the paternal side). We have no idea how they ended up where they did or where they came from originally.

I would want to find out how I got started writing in that ugly little green diary I acquired in 1980 that kicked off my extraordinary documentation of my life (diaries, journals, planners, scrapbooks, photo albums, blog . . . ) that is greater than ever today. I want to know why I'm so compelled to record my life, or at least how I started. I have no recollection buying or receiving that little green diary. My only memory of writing in it is of at least once crouching on the floor by my nightlight to write in it after bedtime. I was only 8 years old. Nothing referencing the diary is written in it, and I didn't think of asking my mom about it (and now it's too late). Since journaling and documenting my life in general is such a huge thing to me, I'm very curious!

I got my first journal when I was eight too! It was a gift from my friend Jessica; she gave me a stuffed brown bear and a floral journal.
