Anyone doing this for 2012? Have any of you taken Ali Edward's class? Wondering if it is worth it. I have always loved this idea, but have not stuck with it. Any advice on how to stay focused on your One Little Word the whole year?

I haven't taken her class but after reading about it last year on her blog I did chose a word. I had it engraved on a necklace that I love. It was amazing how much I really did end up incorporating the word into my life. I need to do a scrapbook page about it & pick a new word for this year.

I also picked a word last year but I didn't take the class. The word was remember, and I sure used it in my life. I've really been thinking about taking the class I would love to hear more if its worth it. I'm such a huge Ali fan that I pretty much positive it would be a great class. Just kinda pricey.

I signed up for the class, but then really didn't participate because I just didn't make it a priority this year with everything else I had going on. But the good thing is that you can download everything, so I figure I can do it this next year. I am a bad one for follow-through, but it was nice to get a reminder each month and to have different ways to think about the word.

I love Ali, and love what she did. Each month she gave a handout, template, had a video with a prompt (different things to do with your word), and then she did a couple of chats throughout the year.

I personally struggled with how I wanted to tackle it digitally. I started to think that it would look better all printed out like she does it, but I don't have the patience for that. :D It would be interesting to combine it with the P365 or P52 or whatever and figure out a way to make it more visually appealing (for me personally) as a digital thing (maybe using Valorie's pockets or using all of the super-cool stuff TLP has in store for us in January).

Anyway, I guess that was a long convoluted answer, but I think it is worth the price and worth doing. :)

I took Ali's class this year and for me it was the first year I actually focused on my word for the whole year. The class is set up so you get an email on the first of each month with info on what to think/write about that month and you do a page each month. I did get a bit behind at the end of the year, but it really was worth it for me ( and I hardly ever complete any online class)
