I think!

I am running Chrome... all teh text is clear, but images seem to be a little blurry? This screen is a 4K screen, and I've adjusted it down so that it appears clearer, but I was wondering if it could be Chrome?

Any ideas?

It won't be your last. And that's OK!

It's complicated. There could be lots of reasons.
If it is scaling your browser for the larger screen, the images will blur. You can try closing Chrome, right click on the shortcut, click properties. Then click on the compatibility tab and disable Display Scaling on High DPi and click OK. That might help. It might not. But it's the easiest fix i know.

I agree! Thank you again, Courtney. A wealth of knowledge! [:]A computer ninja!
(I can't find the bowing down smiley!) @bestcee I did a google search, but nothing came back with that answer, lol!

PS... I will check that when I get home.

I did the change.... and TBH, it looks the same. I might fiddle around a little this weekend and see what I can figure out!

if you are on Mac, for browser I love Firefox, but for downloading kits I do it on Safari
Firefox does''t automatically deleted the zip, you have to delete your self, which is time consuming, Safari does it all for you :)

The new laptop is Windows. :) I might have to try Firefox!

I use Firefox. I found Chrome ate too much memory, but that was a long time ago. I do know there are a few gifs I can't see in Firefox because they aren't true gifs, but I believe gifv? So, in that case, I just open up Chrome if I want to see it. It's rare, like maybe twice a month. So it doesn't bother me.

I have Chrome and a big screen (24") and it isn't blurry at all. I wouldn't think the browser would be the problem for screen resolution, so more likely you might need to fiddle around with the graphics options for your graphic card and with the actual screen resolution of the laptop as well. And like Courtney said, there could be a lot other reasons as well. :)

@wombat146 do you have a 4k screen also? I was reading that it's the 4k part that can cause issues. I don't have a blurry problem with my big screen, but it's not 4k.

you went from Mac to Windows? I thought it sounded strange because I had you in my head as a Mac person.... was it money that made you switch?
I don't think I could ever go back to Windows.....

my screen is 21.5' but I am only little so I don't mind not being bigger LOL
the difference in the price of the iMac to the 24" was such...(something like over £200) that I decided not to.
@bestcee that is good to know about the gifs... I thought it was my net connection or just me or whatever...I ll try safari next time it happens :)

Mac doesn't make a 17" laptop anymore. That is what I was using. If they did, I would have gotten that again. They don't, and I don't forsee it in the immediate future, so I was stuck. I didn't want to compromise on the screen size. So, I decided to return to Windows. Money wasn't the issue, but I sure did spend a heck of a lot less, and got a monster of a machine. Now... just have to get used to it. :)
