OK I think I'm crazy but . . .

I have decided to start doing a digital version of project life for 2012.

Yes it is July and I have just decided to start now!
I'm only 7 months behind it can't be that hard to catch up, can it??? :dizzy

I'm crazy right??!! :giggle

haha kaye - i was just thinking this EXACT same thought the other day :) LOL! i have pictures and notes for most weeks ... and i was thinking that if i really simplify the process, it shouldn't be TOO difficult .... hahahaha ... i'll probably give it a try ....

Oh good I'm not the only crazy one! :)

I have just gone through my photos and I think it's doable, as I haven't taken many pics this year. I am going to use Val's pockets and templates so I think that will make it easier too

I don't think you are crazy. Maybe it is because I was planning on doing PL and only have like 3 weeks done and I still keep thinking I'm going to be able to do it. LOL.

But I think that whatever you do, it will be good. :)

you do not have to start at the beginning of the year. :) there are no rules! start from july 1st and do a half year!

Kaye, I think it's awesome that you're going on with this project. I've taken a bit of a hiatus myself, and am geared up to get working on my album again.

Very cool Kaye! You should do it! I do most of my scrapping project life-ish. I use the the project life album sleeves, but I don't follow the weekly schedule or anything. I just scrap what I can, when I can. I feel like any album is better than no album.

But you could totally start now, and then as you have time, work backwards too. So you could do June first and then when you finish it you could work on May. That way if you want a date consecutive album but you get tired of going backwards, you can just start with whatever month you worked backwards to. :)

Yay, how fun! My only suggestion is not to get too worried about catching up. Stay current, and then catch up as you can. Don't stress it out, and you'll do great!

YAY!!! Same suggestions from me too, whenever I got behind it went faster and I didn't feel "behind" if I stayed current and worked backwards to catch up :)

My suggestion is to start with this month and then work backwards. Also make a template that you can use over and over again. That's what I did so it's easy to plop the photos in. The most work is the journaling. I've added so much journaling this year. This is my 4th year doing project 365 but this year I added more journaling and each page looks similiar as I'm using same template each week. Good luck.

lol you CAN catch up .... i finished up until week 15 and need to catch up since then. working backwards is a good idea.

thanks girls for the encourgement!

I started last night and got week one done. But I'm not too worried about it being a week by week thing as I haven't taken that many photos this year, so I think I am going to do a month by month thing.

I like the idea of working backwards actually so that things are a bit 'fresher' in my mind, plus then I can keep moving forward as well as backwards

I AM NOT CRAZY AFTER ALL!!!! Yay!

You aren't crazy...I started mine back up in June. I did all of January until Valentines Day and then with moving I just stopped and it's a bit too painful to journal so I just decided to skip it. I wanted to document the summer and the holidays (upcoming) so we will just have a bit of a gap that's all :)

I can't wait to see yours Kaye!

i say go for it!!!

i'm several weeks behind - like maybe 12 or so... so i have at least 3 months of catching up to do... i think i'm not much better off than you at this point!! we'll be in it together!!

I can relate to the painful journaling. I haven't completed my project life from last year because just before Christmas, DH's grandfather passed away and to be honest I wasn't sure whether I should include that or not and if I was to include it, what should I journal etc. So I left it and now given time I have decided what to include, so I can go back and finish it off.

Well I have up to week 6 done with photos only so far, I just need to go back and pretty them up and do some journaling. Hope to post some pages in the weekly threads soon.
