this is the reason they give me for rhys not getting in wednesfield High
your preferance is for a school thats is currently oversubscribed there fore the over subscription citeria have been applied to determine the allocation of places and your application meets these criteria to a lesser degree than the succesful applicants
It is the decision of the local authority that :
A the circumstances of the case that you presented were not sufficiently compelling as to over ride the admission limit and
B to admit more children to the year group would place unreasonable, additional pressure on the already stretched resources of the school
Please try and focus your appeal on demonstrating why these 2 points should not apply in your particular case
So how can i convince them,my argument is that they have given me a school that is 2,4 miles away, that is not in our borough, one that does not have a direct bus routte to so will have to catch 2 buses and walk through the busy town centre, his friends are not there(which i know makes no differance),By the time he gets home i will of gone to work so do not know if he is home safley,i am unable to take him and fetch him as i have fin to get to school at the same time and in the future gabbi will be going to school and after school clubs will be out of the question as i wouldnt want him on a bus when its dark
so can some one help me answer a and b please lol
