I caught a bit of "The Politician's Husband" the other night and started watching it even though I knew, just knew, David Tennant would be a heel. But that frosted blond hair and that cruel look??? no no...oh I want 'my' David Tennant back! I have the last show to watch tonight and so I downloaded this one just to reassure myself and to know that inside that black heart is this bit of bubbly!

he plays bad guy in the Harry Potter films (number 4 - Goblet of Fire) too. he's our favorite Doctor, though Raggedy Doctor is a very close second, once we got used to him!

or this one
(Matt Smith is my favorite story line and he's so totally funny, but I like this smile way more than his heehee :) ) and Donna just happens to be one of my A.B.S.O.L.U.T.E favorite companions! and this is when she returns if I am looking at the picture correctly :) )

He's not my "normal type" but goshdarn it, he makes my heart go pitter-patter! I haven't heard of The Politician's Husband, so I'm off to check it out. Hopefully I can find it. :)

David Tennant is my absolute FAVE Doctor (although I really dig Capaldi's version too)! He's actually the reason that I started watching Doctor Who in the first place- I mean, that hair!!!! I think we were in the middle of the third season or so when my husband looked at me and asked, "are we watching this show solely because you like this guy's hair?!?!?"

But, seriously, this is why I love him...

@cookingmylife If you don't want to see an evil David Tennant, never ever ever ever watch Jessica Jones! But have you seen him in Hamlet? He was brilliant!

My daughters love, love, LOVE David!! They hate the new doctor. They had a hard time with Matt Smith, but slowly got used to him, which is now their second favorite doctor. But David....I'll never forget the episode where he regenerated. I was on my computer and I heard a loud, gut-wrenching scream from my oldest (then 13) with my middle (then 10) screaming, "don't cry". I jumped up from my computer, ran downstairs only to find my daughters sobbing. I asked who was hurt and my daughter said, "he regenerated". I looked at the tv and said, "oh" and walked back upstairs :D They scared me nearly to death and when I find out what's wrong, it's a tv show?! My girls. They are obsessed with that show! :D

If you haven't seen the Decoy Bride, that's a good one. He's in that one as is the girl who is the voice of Merida. Older movie, I think, but I do believe available on Netflix

I stopped watching the show when he stopped being the Doctor. Matt Smith was ok, but everyone else here stopped watching when he stopped.

I never really cared for Matt Smith's Doctor, but I did love Clara as a companion. Despite my initial misgivings, I have come to really, really like Peter Capaldi's Doctor, as well. He has some of the maturity and grouchiness of Nine combined with Ten's manic brilliance, with a great deal of snark (oh, so much snark!) thrown in.

I refuse to carry on watching Jessica Jones when I realized what character he was playing......
I had seen a very old thing he did for TV.... he was a psycho boyfriend that ends up marrying the sister after the girl left him, and moves with the sister into her house....and drives the ex mad... I didn't finish watching that...and wont atch anything in which he will take away my so so very loved Dr WHO!!!!!!!

I first saw him in a Tv mini series where he played Casanova - so good! but he was The Doctor. I loved the Matt Smith story lines, Amy and Rory are my fav companions but David Tennant does the split personality of the Dr better than anyone.

THIS. *shudder* Loved his Doctor as well, although they all sort of grow on me over time (except Eccleston... couldn't do Eccleston). But the fact that he can play such an utterly evil character so convincingly shows his talent. Even if it doesn't make me happy to see. LOL.

Because I'm not ready to let this thread go quite yet. :)

And this side isn't bad, either. (She's just doing what we're all thinking!)
