Officially Summer here!!

woooooooooooohooo...Memorial Day here in our neck of the woods (New Mexico, USA) means no more school and rockin' the summertime!
We water the lawn via sprinkler to the sound of kids jumping on the trampoline!!
Late evenings laughing and sleep ins in the morning...

Is is almost summer for you? or you downunders, are you getting all snuggled in for your winter???

it is getting cooler here at night but we are still having nice sunny autumn days. I'm heading over to the USA to come and enjoy some summer with you soon, so yay for warm weather

My kids are pool rats this time of year and I love it! Great excuse to sit back and read a good book . After all, I can't exactly do laundry and watch them at the same time, right? hehe.

We have two more weeks of school and then we'll be joining the summer fun! My boys are in count down mode for sure!

Summertime has been here almost a week. My boys have hardly been home. I find summers hard when it comes to the boys schedules but now they are so social, they want to go go go. I miss them!

We still have one more week. We were supposed to end this Friday, but nope... thank to the floods we have 3 extra days!

Frosts have started here but very late this year. Still hitting high teens (in celcius degrees) most days though so all very bearable. Canberra winters can be gorgeous, cold at night and so clear during the day, very little wind at this time of the year. Not my fav time of the year though, looking forward to spring already.
