I always thought that my BIGGEST vocation in life was a personal shopper. Hubby hates when I am at a store and start helping complete strangers to pick something. Or stop and tell someone: "you should get that, it brings out your eyes". Like he seriously thinks I am wasting my calling by not being a personal shopper. LOL!!!

So, I ask you... anything you have been looking for to scrap and haven't because you haven't found the PERFECT kit or even element?

ASK AWAY... for your and MY pleasure!

Who has some need for a personal shopper this month!?!?!

Nobody? I guess I am going to have to shop for myself...... unless I get some requests!

Lol, it's only been half an hour, Super Personal Shopper Dalis! :D

Oh, here's one for you: Taxes. It's inevitable like Death. I think I want to document this year's process. Got any suggestions? :giggle

YIKES! Taxes?!?!?!? Good one... let me see what kit I can find.

Here's a challenge for ya Dalis . . . I do a lot of photography on the side. I don't take "paid" clients anymore, but instead only shoot what interests me or makes me feel good shooting it for the recipient.

For example, last weekend I shot a Peewee football game for a friend. His son was playing and these kids were not only serious, but seriously adorable! I love the shots that I got and would like to do a scrapbook page about it, but not about football, instead about photographing football for this friend . . . so I guess that I need it to have more of a photography feel than a sports or kids feel. Does this make any sense?

The more I think about it, I should do a whole album for myself on these shoots that I do . . . they are very diverse so a couple kits that I could use to create a unified feel would be great!

Okay 1st request Dalis!!!

I have always wanted a VW buggie :) I was given my fathers car and just never ended up getting a buggie. My Aunt recently got this ADORBS one with cute dandelions on the side (if thats what they are LOL) and told my mother that she was thinking of my when she got it! I was never told this information because my mother said, its not practical with a car seat LOL I told her I could manage that she ruined my life! LOL not really but I love the car. So every time my Aunt comes to visit I just stand there drooling over the car. I would love to scrap about that photo of that rockin car! --Any ideas?? :D

No suggestions yet, but Amanda . . . THAT IS TOO FREAKIN' ADORABLE!!

could you find me something to scrap performing arts? theatre stuff?

Haha thanks Lori! But hey with Dalis just simply posting this thread and making me find a photo and really think about it, it inspired me to scrap it! Thanks Dalis for the inspiration to FINALLY scrap this photo!

Ok, Amanda, that car is so cute and I LOVE how you scrapped it!!!!! Just love it!

btw. I am still going to drop some ideas here in case you decide to snap a picture of you driving it and scrap it.

I think this one might be an easy re-color job.

Of course I had to do some dandelion ideas too.

Ok, this one is super hard, but here is what I thought.... for taxes one of the big things are the due date....

This stamp set is SO CLEAN that just grabs 100% of your attention.

With the clean and simple idea in my head, I thought... well, she needs a place to put her journaling and I saw these... that little rainy cloud is just perfect.

Now, let's face it nobody likes TAX DAY, so here are a few of my favorite "cranky" kits. These should all be a staple in everyone's stash, because life is not all pink and rainbows.

For your title, I think this would look so GOOD.

Lori, I haven't forgotten about you, I think I have the perfect kit, but I want to add a few more things, to fit your style better and the idea of an entire album.

We have been going to lowes twice a month to attend their build and grow clinics since Joshua was 3yo. Isabelle has been building for the last few years as well. We have collected a lot of patches and certificates. I used to sew the patches onto their aprons, and even resorted to adding an additional flap for the patches once the original apron was full. The kids started complaining about how heavy the apron was, so I stopped adding patches. I digress. We still go to the build and grow clinics from time to time, but now we are collecting the patches in a storage container. The other day it occurred to me that the pockets are the perfect size for the patches and I came up with the clever idea to pocket scrap all of the projects. We always take photos while building the projects, so the idea is to put a photo in a pocket and the corresponding patch in a pocket adjacent to the photo. I think this might be boring if it's just the photo and a patch, so it would be great to embellish a little. All of this to say... if you could find something Mr. fixit/home improvement/DIY or it could even be red/blue (the Lowe's colors). As you can see from the photo, the patches come in a variety of colors and of course my children are dressed differently each time we go to Lowes, but I am interested in something that I can use throughout the album to give it a cohesive look.

Above is a mockup page to give you an idea of what I have planned as well as a photo of some of the patches.
I'm interested to see what you can find for me Dalis!

OMG Trista, I didn't know about this, I just went to check our local lowes (around us almost all the Lowes closed down about a year ago). They have one Halloween thing scheduled but it's full. :(

oh Dalis those stuffs rock!! I wish i could drive it! keeping my fingers crossed i will eventually! it's stick so she would have to teach me LOL!

Dalis... you have to go to the site a few days before the beginning of a new month to sign up.
We have about 5 within 15 miles of us... so we have a few to choose from, they all eventually fill up. In the small town where my dad lives, they never fill up. :D So if we are in a pinch and it is one that we REALLY want to have (Nascar, Monster truck, or anything really) that has already filled up everywhere, I will sign up at my dad's store and ask him to go pick it up. LOL! It's a small town and we have gone to it quite a bit, so they know us there and have always been willing to do it for us.
