Heirlooms.

"Our most treasured family heirloom are our sweet family memories. The past is never dead, it is not even past." William Faulkner

Today is a great chance to mention/document your family heirlooms. I don't have many. I only had one set of grandparents, and my grandma is notorious for getting rid of everything. I hold out hope for some of her old pictures though. One family heirloom that is a bit strange is that we have a lilac tree that was started from my grandparents' tree, which was started from my grandpa's parents' tree. So it is a real family tree, and I love it so much. It always reminds me of him. My husband has tons of stuff, in boxes, from his parents' house. One thing I love is old letters that were written back and forth between his parents when they were dating. Awwww.

What about you?

How wonderful to have old letters. I would have kept all our family letters from years ago had I know that eventually that would become a thing of the past.

[GRATITUDE] HEIRLOOMS

This was quite a process for me. First, I decided to do a multi-photo layout & combed through my hard drive for templates. Collected dozens. Downloaded photos from flickr. Took a break for lunch, and realized I have a poem that completely expresses my feelings about my house full of treasures.

Started over.

I made this with a collection by Dawn Inskip but I can´t find it in the shop. I guess it´s been retired, so I hope this is ok:

I sort of changed up day 6
