My husband texted me this afternoon and said, 'well may as well start looking for houses in Indiana.' he wasn't kidding. the area manager called him into his office to 'just talk' about transferring him to the indiana plant. um, yeah. we just moved here in june. are ya kidding me? *sigh*

well, i guess if we're gonna do it, let's just get it over with. but this is crazy stuff. i mean, i just don't know how the kids would take the news of another move and more 'new friends' and new school and all that jazz. how many times can you put a good cheerful spin on it before they really catch on and stop believing you that it will be 'fun to meet new people.' i'm still hearing "i wish we still lived in michigan' from them... *sigh*

i need some encouragement right now. :dizzy

oh no, rebecca! i don't envy you at all. i'm hoping for another smooth transition for you.

oh boo!! that's no fun :( i know that our move to boston is short term too - but i think we'll be here a year or two ... but i'm not sure if that's better or not - maybe it IS better just to get it over with before you get completely settled into a new place ... good luck!

AGAIN????? WTH UGH i hope it either works out and you stay or you move and never have to transfer again

Would the Indiana move put you closer to MI - maybe put that spin on it if it does?! I can imagine that it's hard to really think about doing it all over again. Boo.

Oh geez! Well, at least Indiana is closer to being back in Michigan so you can put that positive spin on things for the kids at least. I hope they are paying for all the expenses of moving you again too! The good news is that you won't have to figure out how to redecorate your kitchen now either. Ugh.... Sorry that's all I have.

oh that is no good!!! I am so sorry, just the thought of all the packing and emotional energy involved in moving.....no good at all!

okay, well you guys are just the very best ever! thank you!!

let me clarify, it is not 100% set in stone, so MAYBE we'll just stay put.

but really, indiana or ohio, either is okay. i just want to be somewhere where we stay put for a while. or forever would be good, but not sure how likely that actually is.

we DID just finish painting, so i guess that's an up-side for me... i don't have to really do much to get ready for it. other than the thought of selling a house this time of year really puts a damper on much for Christmas decorating. :(

yes karen, at least i don't have to do much with my kitchen. :) maybe i can buy a house with a GOOD kitchen this time around. no dark green countertops!! :giggle

{{{hugs}}} Rebecca. The only good thing about moving for me is that I clean out all my closets and purge a bunch of stuff. You've just done that though!

hmmm carly... not super sure that voodoo is the answer here. :giggle

debra, yes we have, although i'm sure we COULD do some more... seems that's a job that's never really done. ;)

What the? NOT AGAIN! Thinking smooth transitional thoughts for you and your family hun x

Sheesh Rebecca!! Maybe it's time for DH to move, to a new job. Don't they know how hard that is on a family. Best of luck sweetie!!
