So a friend of mine gave me a recipe for no bake cookies, I made 'em, and they are fabulous... i have to share!!
Preacher Cookies:
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 stick margarine
---
3 c. quick oats
3/4 c. peanut butter
1tsp. vanilla
Mix the 4 ingredients and boil about 1 minute, then add the last 3 ingredients and mix well. Drop on wax paper. Cool and serve.
Sounds good right? Well I'm not such a fan of the peanut butter so the first batch I made with Nutella and it was super yum.
Then today I got a bit more creative and tweaked the recipe even more.
I replaced the oats with Rice Krispies (but about 6 cups, add until the krispies seem saturated and stop before it gets to tough to stir) and the peanut butter with Caramel (i used one package of Kraft caramel meltable balls, found near the chocolate chips).
YUM!!
And I shall name them Dinosaur Cookies!
I also scooped them out with an ice cream scoop and stuck 'em in the freezer to cool. But then take them out when they are cool so they don't get freezer burn.
SOOO super yum!
Let me know if you try it, or find another nice mixture.
