weeeeeee! my FREE, yes FREE Nintendo DSi arrived today! Aaaah I love credit card points! hehe

So now I need to know what games do I HAVE to have, so please enable me with all the games you looooove or that your kids love on their DS's (as no doubt the kids will get their grotty mits on it at some stage!)
 
My daughter has the DS Lite and I don't even play it (although I should!) She just has a Hannah Montana game, the Crayola game, and Smart Girls game. Probably doesn't help you much!
 
well, my boys are ds junkies! let's see, some of their favorite games...
* fossil fighters
* pokemon diamond
* legendary starfy

their ages are 7 & 9.

Well, if it were MINE...I'd have the Tetris DS game I just spied in the store. ;) My boys have tons of games. The ones they like the most? Anything Pokemon, Cooking Mama, the Lego games, My Sims anything...
 
Well we love anything super mario, but Animal Crossing or Sims are fun. And my kids love all the zeldas. My oldest is asking for Twilight Princess for her 16th birthday. But personally I loved Brain Age cause you could play Sudoko on it.
 
My boys go crazy for super Mario bros! They can sync and play together! They're 8 & 6. I don't play it, I have enough addictions, I mean hobbies already ;)

Kaye...what are your kids' ages and sex?

I'll ask my boys, and one of my boys works in the gaming dept at Best Buy. He LOVES games and loves to help customers find the perfect games, so I'll ask him too. I know my boys have loved some of these already mentioned though...Zelda, Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Super Mario....

I'll ask tonight and get back with you though for specific games.

My boys are crazy over Pokemon...and you can't go wrong with Mario. They also have this Phineas and Ferb game that they love :)
 
we just returned from shopping and we ended up grabbing a Sonic game and a disney princess one. I checked out the ones that have been mentioned here too and they all look great, I think we might need to start a 'wish list' hehe
 
How fun!

The only DS games I'll play are the mario ones - super mario brothers, etc.

My 7 year old loves Animal Crossing and Pokemon Diamond. My 4 year old is into the lego ones and the racing ones.
 
I was over at the store with a few of my boys, and we were looking at all the games. They both said that any of these mentioned were great...and it really depends on the interest of your kids. There was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game that both said they'd like to try (they're 18 and 27!! LOL) They just remember it from their childhood...where we had to put the 3.5 inch disks into the computer to play...there were like 5 of them, so when you hit the next level, you had to change disks!!

haha the good ol' days! There is no way today's kids would like to be changing disks :giggle

we have to actually hide his DS after he goes to sleep cause he will wake up at like 4 in the morning and start playing LOL
