Hi my name is Dawn, I have spent the last couple days looking and reading. You ALL have such wonderful Talent. I was very inspired by someones layout and did a version of my own, but I cant post becuz I believe the rules say to post you must use products from here, so how do I find them? :helpy

I am a mom of three two boys 25,22 and one girl 17 (almost the 27th of Oct) I have two step granddaughters 7 & 5 and 3 others granddaughters 2, 8 months and 3 months. I watch them everyday while my kids work or go to school. I also work part time. I started scrapbooking in 2000 and have completed 36 12 x 12 albums and 6 8 x 11 albums and 5 smaller gift albums. I have 5 albums that are in the making and will continue to be until my grandkids reach 18, then they will go into my yearly events album the same as my kids did.

I came here hoping to learn some new things and maybe a different style. I started out with Creative Memories, and within 6 months learned that there is way more to scrapbooking then a single company. I enjoy a very wide range of products.

Hope to get to know everyone and be inspired even more then I already am!!!

The new releases come out on Friday's. Also every Wednesday there is a Something Old Something New sale, which is a mix of new & older products of the designers choice marked off 50% for the day. So be sure to catch those.

It sounds like you are one productive scrapper!! I'm not sure I've officially finished ONE album :giggle (that's not entirely true, but close)! Can't wait to see your pages!

BTW, I see you're from Fremont. My grandfather used to live in Fremont (although he's in FL now), and I lived in Toledo for a while and had an audit client in Fremont. Sheesh, we're practically related! *lol*

Thank you for the warm welcomes, and I will certainly checkout the store and hopefully get to order real soon (budget is a little tight at the moment :td)

I am having a scrappers brainblock (lol) I have tons of pictures but 0 creativity flowing :cry

I am lucky enough to have a small 8 x 9 rm in my house that is next to the livingroom and has a double door (so I dont feel like I am a million miles away from the rest of my family) this room serves as my computer/scraproom (they got hand in hand for me) so I have pages going all the time and stuff out (YES my kids and grandkids are all trained and no that room is off limits)

Hi Dawn, Welcome to TLP! You will love it here :) you will find lot of talented ladies here, they are very helpful, funny, and I just feel just like at home here.

The designers give out coupons which they usually post in the Announcement area. Then if you do the Monthly Challenges you also get certain % off your purchases too. The challenges are so fun to do. Cant wait to see some pages :)
 
Thats neat, seldom do I ever come across anyone familiar with Fremont, I grew up in Toledo till I was 11, then went to Oak Harbor till I was 18 then Port Clinton till I was 19 ment hubby he wanted to live in Fremont (hes from here) so Ive been here every sense.

My husband's college room mate was from Oak Harbor. Small world. :)

Welcome Dawn! I'm another with older children...I have four boys ages 20, 24, 25, and 28. No grandkids yet though (I'm going to say thankfully, because they're not ready to have kids)!

TLP is such an amazing place to be. I love the designers, great challenges, and everyone is so sweet here! I'm sure you're going to love it!

I dont think I have ever come to a blog or forum and have been made to feel so welcome. I love it here so far and lets just say I got nothing done in the way of housework yesterday lol, I was so wrapped up in being here and looking at the wonderful layouts..... I can honestly say I did not find a one that I didnt like. I did get two pages done tho :)
