Newbie here....best ways to get started

Ok, I'm a newbie here..in the forum, although I have lurked for years because I'm a Kate Hadfield junkie.....(and I loved Lauren and Karah when they were at another site).....

In a nutshell, what's the best way to get started here? In the challenges, etc.

My brain is full because I'm a children's pastor AND am coordinating Upward Basketball (first game is tomorrow), so if you could put it into "dummy" steps for me, my brain would be grateful.

Hi Kaylea - welcome! I think the challenges are a great way to get started! Also, this is a really good weekend to de-lurk, with all the birthday festivities! So jump in, participate in the threads and games, and make yourself at home! :)

Welcome, Kayelea!! I definitely think the challenges are a great way to get involved.
Also, good luck with your Upwards games, I have a friend who did that for our church and I got the impression that it was a TON of work!! Hopefully you can find some down time to scrap!
