Hi~ I am brand new to digital scrapping. I have only done one page, and it was using an Ali Edwards template.
I am trying to use the free October challenge template. Everything is working great except I can not get the picture to clip into the picture layer correctly. It keeps wanting to only use half or a third of my picture. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Teri. Welcome to TLP! Are you using PS or PSE? It might be something as simple as needing to move your picture around onto the clipping mask or resizing the photo before clipping.
 
Welcoem Teri!! Laura's right. In pse you just need to make sure of a few things to get it to clip properly.
1) make sure your picture is in the layer above the clipping mask.
2) make sure your picture fully covers the clipping mask layer. If it's not big enough to cover it completly, then the clipping mask will still show when the photo is clipped. If it IS big enough but it's not lined up over top of the mask to cover it, then all you have to do is nudge the photo over until it covers the mask. If the mask is larger than the photo, the best thing would be to resize the mask. If you resize the photo to increase its size, you may end up degrading the quality too much for print.

Welcome Teri, and thanks for asking your question. When I first started I would spend hours on something that was probably quite simple if I had just asked. The girls here are very knowlegable and super sweet. A lot of us here are also fallen paper scrappers and the lilypad is a great place to dabble into hybrid scrapping.
