New Refrigerator

I don 't know about Dalis, but my son had an LG and getting parts for it was nearly impossible and this was pre-COVID.

Oh my! Good thing we didn't! :giggle We did have an LG in our top two final choices though. What made you declare this so boldly? Lol.

I fought for 3 years with them, 5 condensers and they still wouldn't give me a new fridge! It was horrible! You know how much money I lost just on food!

Glad you found something!!! 19 years is a long time (these days)! Most new fridges are only designed to last about 10 years :( We have a Kitchen Aid and while I like the design, parts are constantly breaking with normal wear and tear. We have a very specific space that our fridge has to fit into, so we were confined by that. For that reason, we opted to have an interior water spout so the water/ice cube unit wouldn't take up precious interior door space.

Oh my gosh! What a nightmare... and YES I know all about the cost of losing food sadly. I was able to save the stuff in the freezer, but had to toss a ton of stuff from the fridge.

I know! I was pretty happy to have it last 19 years. And I'm sad knowing that this new one probably will not last that long. Such a bummer! We also looked at a couple with the interior water spout and were leaning towards one like that, but then, like you said, we had to fit a fridge in the existing space, so that basically made the decision for us too.

My hubby is going to call again today to try to get a firm delivery date. He called last week a few days after we placed our order and they said they couldn't tell us anything at all until it arrive at the local Lowes store. Apparently they don't have tracking info on shipments. So weird! For this planner girl approaching a graduation party on Saturday, that is driving me crazy! :giggle

What a pain! You guys are making me glad we didn't end up with the LG that we really liked (but it wouldn't fit in our space)

Blessing in disguise! Plus, dealing with them was not very nice either.
