I can't believe it's June 1st! Have you been stalking the forum waiting for the new challenges to go live? I have!

I love starting the month off by checking out the new challenges and making plans to complete them all. Some months I do better than others, but I always try to get a couple done. The BYOC and template ones are my favorites. I also love the random and inspiration challenges. I'm always amazed at the creativity of our Pollys and love the push the challenges give me. It's fun to learn new techniques and be stretched to try new things. Some of my favorite layouts have come from challenges. I never would have done those on my own and am so grateful for the time Pollys spend to make TLP great. MOC is awesome, but the monthly challenges and weekly focus challenges keep the creative juices flowing all year at a doable pace.

How about you? Were you waiting for the challenges to go live? And which one or ones are you favorite?

Definitely, I stalk the forum early on the 1st and snag my spot in the challenge layout thread, open new challenge folders for the month and start planning how I can combine the challenges with creative team layouts I have coming up.
The Masters one seems a real challenge to me! So far right brained a logical left brained like me has to stew on it a while.

oh yes, that one is challenging me too, but I love what she's done there. I never would have thought to make scrapbook layouts based on fine art.

The past few days seemed very boring scrapping-wise, because I had already done all my challenges! Now I've already bookmarked the threads, I've created folders with ideas for each challenge and I wait till everyone's asleep so I can scrap!

Every month I make a list of the challenges and plan to do them all. Most months I may get one or two done but this month is going to be different!!! I've downsized my CT commitments so I can do more of my own scrapping - Yay!!!

I do usually read the challenges on the first of every month.

The inspiration challenge is especially inspiring this month. I was impressed after her first example layout and then she went on to show a second page she made, inspired by the same piece of art. Awesome!

You early birds in other countries almost always beat me, but one month I hope to be on Page 1 of the Challenge Layout thread. I am excited when I get to be on Page 2. Now I am off to see what the challenges are.

I have a little note doc on my desktop called Scrap To Do. I make a list of the monthly challenges, designer challenges, art journal challenges and anything else I want to try/learn that month. I include the specs for each challenge so I don't have to find them at the pad. I also stick my coupon codes in it. Then when I sit down to scrap I see if I can make any of the challenges work for my normal scrapping.

Absolutely! They are the first posts I check and then add the ones I want to do in my favourites "challenges" folder in IE. Once done I remove them.
This month I want to do all of them, but sometimes there are only a couple that appeal to me - it all depends on my mood.
This month I especially like the Masters challenge, that one is going to be really interesting. The template challenge I've already done - on day 1 - that's a first. I think.

I don't always get a chance to participate but I am always excited to open up the new challenges and see what the Polly's have come up with! The challenges are such a fun way to be "challenged" beyond your comfort zone and try something different.

Didn't have any mojo last month, so I didn't get any done. Looking forward to this months' challenges!!!

I hear ya. I was totally worn out after iNSD, so I only did the BYOC challenge last month. I'm hoping to do more this month though. I'll probably start with the template or BYOC. Those are easiest for me and helping get my momentum going.

You ladies are so organized with your folders!! I'm over here with printer paper and my chicken scratch handwriting LOL!! I love the challenges, the themes are typically something I wouldn't think of doing on my own so that's cool!! It's hard to pick a favorite though.

I am really looking forward to this month's challenges because one school is out and baseball is over, I might actually get some done! Yay!!

Yeah i just jot them down on notebook paper at my desk while I do them. I can't do all the organized folders, and excel spreadsheets.

I liked looking thru Army Girls gallery for the scraplift inspiration last night -i know we were warned but i found wiki Art is a bit daunting!

I like to start with BYOC since it ties in easily with CT stuff. That or the random challenge. I seriously struggle with scraplifting and the photo challenge, like every single month! I try to do 7 every month, but last month I just couldn't do it. I have to do 6 for the coupon though, coupons make me happy.
