Hi!

My name is Alanna and I have just joined the forum. I only know one other person that scrapbooks, and I thought it would be fun to try and be a part of a community that understands how much fun it is! :)

I have a pretty clean scrapbooking style, I tend not to use too many elements or clusters. I have tried both more of a traditional style and pocket scrapping style, but right now am sticking mostly to the pocket style. I like to organize my books by year, but since i am better at consistently scrapping at the beginning than at the end of the year, the last book I have actually completed is 2009 :) I have 2012, 2013 done up until Sept/Oct. This year I am trying REALLY hard to be able to print my Jan 1st. We'll see how that goes! :)

I am so glad you are part of this community! I love your style, and enjoy watching the events be told on your pages! You capture the heart of the moments!
It is so hard to try and explain scrapbooking to those that don't, lol, having a place to come and babble is a great outlet too.
I print books yearly too! I have 7 kids and do 300 plus pages a year, so I print quarterly. When those books arrive, my kids all huddle around (my oldest finds the spelling mistakes) and look at it. The old ones are pulled out again and again. That is like fuel to my mojo to keep making pages of memories!

Welcome, Alanna. I don't know many people in real life who scrapbook either, so it is really nice to be able to connect with people who 'get it' and TLP is the best!!
 
welcome to TLP you will love it here, I also don't know many IRL who get "scrapbooking" that's why it's so fun to find a forum "family" of scrappers

Just do what you did! Introduce yourself, and no worries! You are welcome to join in on any challenges and post all around the forum. This isn't MY place it is yours, and OURs. You can be as active as you want. I am rather extroverted and can be seen everywhere babbling, but find my bestest pals are introverts and they have trained me well! lol
