Hi Lily Pad friends!

I've been a lurker for a while at the store and on the forums, and decided to just jump in and introduce myself!

I'm Allie, and I blog at http://www.alexandraraedesign.com/ -- come visit!

A little bit of the basics about me-- I'm a recent college graduate, recent married lady (just celebrated our one year!), from Ohio, and I don't have any kids.

I "discovered" digital scrapbooking in 2007, but it's been a weird discovery, since I was coming from a paper scrapping and photography student standpoint. I was in college, so there wasn't much time to explore it--- and then I "rediscovered" digi scrapping in 2010 and I've been loving it!

Other interests of mine include crafting (hybrid and paper); painting, photography, designing (I'm a graphic designer by trade); TV shows (Favorites include Gilmore Girls, Top Chef, HIMYM, Grey's Anatomy); girly movies, and DIYing the decorating and renovating of the house my husband and I just bought.

Some of my favorite designers include One Little Bird Designs, Paisley Press, Kate Hadfield, Lauren Grier, Allison Pennington....

I just had a quick look at your blog...really love the 30 days of lists idea and I especially love the meal plan post. What a fun week of meals. If you want to view any of our galleries just click on the My Gallery button at the top right hand corner of each post. There really are some amazing scrappers/ hybrid artists here. So glad you are delurking!

I'm Sara. I'm a military spouse and so for our family, home is where ever we are, together. And right now we live in the (ludicrously) hot desert southwest. My husband and I have been married 11 years and we have one daughter. She just started first grade last week (eeep!) so we are in the getting-back-to-normalcy haze of when summer ends and school begins.

My roots were in paper scrapping too! And discovered and fell in love with digi in 2008. And The Pad has been a part of my love for scrapping since the beginning. I love to get crafty and I LOVE journaling...so that's where my heart for creating lives. I'm so blessed to say all my favorite designers live here at The Pad too and I also love (LOVE) OLB and Paislee Press!!

When I'm not busy with scrapping and story, I'm soaking up time with my family. I'm kinda in love with Food Network tv and I love all things music. And Chicago. And chocolate.

p.s. I really enjoyed poking around your site! I did 30 days of lists before (in a lurky kind of way) and have signed up again...love it!! Looking forward to it!

Scarletsierra-- I'm a miltary wife too (and daughter!)-- Thankfully, we haven't had to move around, since my husband started in the National Guard. How many times have you moved?
