Hi everyone! You all have inspired me to jump into the PL water. :) This is my first time to do it. I've spent the last 6 weeks going back and forth between wanting to do it digitally or traditionally. I've been 100% digi since 2007. So I'm doing...both, lol! I'm using Valerie's page protectors and have read the responses about how to make them look realistic with manipulating the drop shadow. I'm using PSE 10 and I'm not sure I have the capability to do this. Any other suggestions?
I'm hoping to figure out how to post some LO's here soon.

So glad you are joining in!

There is a thread that talks about how to do it and it does work in elements, so you'll be able to do it. :D I'll find it and be back with the link.

Welcome! I'm planning to do a combination of digital and using the actual Page protectors. I bought some digital journaling cards here at The Lilypad. I'm going to create my journaling cards digitally on PSE 9 then print them out and put them in the page protectors. There are so many ways to do project life! I'm new too and this is a really great welcoming place! People here are very helpful. Lots of luck getting started! Have a great day, Roni

Welcome Erika! So glad you jumped in! :) I have CS5 so I cannot give advice on PSE, but it looks like the thread Kim dug up has lots of info. Can't wait to see what you create! :D

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! That's a great thread. Can't wait till bedtime for my little ones so I can play. :) Now about posting to threads...How do I do that?

Welcome Erica! :wave So glad you've joined us! You will love it hear @ The Pad :D

Any of the threads that talk about changing the drop shadow to linear burn etc can't be done in Elements.

Two options: if they use at least 50% products from the store here, you can upload them to the gallery here. Otherwise, create an account at Photobucket (it's free), upload the image there and post it here. :)
