Every year my sister sends me pictures of the cute teacher gifts she gives and I always think, "Why didn't I do something like that?!" I'm lucky if I get simple gift cards ordered for them! Well, this year I'm determined to change that and plan ahead, so here's a couple quick printable projects for you in case you want to join me.
One of our favorite family drinks this time of year is Cranberry Ginger Ale. It starts coming out the end of October but can rarely be found in December because it sells out so fast so we buy it early and stock up. I thought it would be fun to share our favorite soda with teachers and neighbors this year so when I saw the drink card in this new December Days Pocket Cards set from ninigoesdigi I knew I wanted to use it:
I decided to use the 6x4 version so I can print it as a 4x6 photo which is easiest for me, but you can do whatever size you want. I kept this one super simple and just added some text in one of Heather Joyce's fonts, The Dot Connector. The result:
Here's how it looks attached to the soda:
Another favorite to give teachers and neighbors is a plate of homemade treats. Have you ever received a homemade treat and wished you had the recipe? I know I have! That's why I decided to create a recipe card printable to go with our plate of goodies this year.
I thought about searching recipe cards in the store, but then I thought it would be more festive to use a DYD card. So I picked a card from Anita Designs' new A Christmas Story Pocket Cards:
I knew I needed a card with a lot of white space to fit the recipe, so I went with the floral card bottom right. The result:
Here's how it looks on a plate of goodies:
I thought the type might be too small so I made one more version using a green paper and postage stamp from Lynn Grieveson's new Yuletide Kit:

The result:
With a plate of goodies:
As you can see, it's very easy to transform your digi stash into quick printables. I kept my cards super simple, but you can add as many items as you want. I hope this tutorial sparked some creativity for you as we head into the season of giving.

I’m glad you enjoy cranberry ginger ale as well! We also like the blackberry but I’ve only seen that in cans.
