I finally found a way to get myself the physical PL stuff by order from Canada and get it send to my friend who lives their. She is coming home to Thailand on July and will carry them back for me. (isn't she sweet? :beat)

But good news is that her friend (which is also Thai) is coming back to Thailand on March. So if I order mine now, her friend will carry it back for me. I'm so excited.

Then I'm now having problems since I can't decided what to get. Okay, I know I want the page protectors and blank journal cards. I think I will order the Big pack of design A, a pack of design G, and a pack of 6x12, and the blank journal cards.

My questions is:
- Do you think it will be enough for one year project (60 sheets plus another 12)?
- Do I have to get the core kit? I mean I have the Clementine (full kit in digi version), can I print them out on a Matte Photo Paper (150g) and use them or should I get the physical one as well?
- Is there anything else I need, like some embellishments, etc. (I've ordered some washi tapes, paper doilies, and twine from etsy the other day, and still looking for some tags, labels, and alphas.

Okay, I'm a completely 100% digi scrapper, so I don't have any physical scrapbook supplies, so I'm trying to build up my stash to use for my PL. I'm also planning to use my digi-stash too, as I saw lots of beautiful hybrid PL around here, and I've been collecting so many things that I'd never used. May be it's the time I could get to use those things. I also have quite a few of digi journaling cards from TLP designers that I will print out and use.

Eeekkk!!! I'm so excited!!!! :happydance2

Yay, I'm so happy you found a way to get the stuff! That's exactly the number of protectors I got, and I am quite sure it'll be enough for me - I don't think I'll have many inserts (I plan to use the G designs for those).

I got the core kit, and even though I like the pages done with digi stuff printed out best, because I can tweak it to match pictures, having the kit makes it quicker to put together a page if you're pressed for time.

As for embellishments, there really is no limit (unfortunately!) :giggle, but the one think I'd recommend is a date stamp too.

Aahhh....YES!!!
How could I forget the date stamp!!!
I also was looking at some alpha stamps in etsy. The ones that are mounted on wood. I love them!!!

About the core kit, so may be best is to use my digi version then. If I use the physical one, I was thinking of printing my journaling on them anyway.

Thank you for your answer!!!

I just looked, and the page protectors still aren't in stock yet. I'm waiting on them too to get started with some physical pages. Hopefully they'll be back in stock early in February and in time for her to bring them to you!

Oh...and as for date stamps, Amazon had the Smash Date stamp on sale...I think it was about half price!

I like the idea of printing out your core kit pieces on matte paper. I think if I hadn't bought the physical core kit, I might have done the same thing!

I'm so excited for you! That's fabulous!

Very exciting!!! I'm so happy for you that you'll be able to get your hands on this stuff (relatively) soon! I'm planning on placing basically the same order you mentioned. :)

I was going to say that buying the physical core kit might end up more economical than printing out all your own from the digi version. Just a thought.

Smash also has some small pads that are really cute. They come in themes. I picked up 2 at Joann's the other day and they work really well in the 3x4 spots. Totally not necessary but SO adorable is the Tim Holtz "Tiny Attacher" & refills. I know I can easily use a regular stapler but I gotta tell you, I LOVE this tiny one. LOL

I'll see first how will it be for me using the digital Clementine kit. I'll have to wait anyway if I want the physical core kit since it's out of stock, and will be re-produce sometimes around April/May.

Oh yes, I've seen some PL pages using those tiny staples and love it. I'd love to have one but will have to check if the scrapbook store in Thailand has the refill. I'll get one for myself if they have it, lol. Also about the corner rounder, I've seen Becky recommended the Crop-a-dile Corner Chomper which would love to have one. Is there anything else besides of WRMK Corner Chomper or this one is the "must-have", or the best?

BTW, are there any Canadian Scrappers here? Could you point me to your fav online scrapbook store located in Canada please?

Sounds like you've got a great plan! BTW, Clementine isn't out of stock. http://tinyurl.com/7ah6kpv

Thank you!

The problem is I'm ordering PL from Canada, so that my friend who lives there can carry it back for me. The shipping cost to Thailand is very expensive. The price will be double.

Actually the nearest where I could order is Singapore, but then they will be triple since they have to add their shipping cost and tax to each item (which I understand). Then when I order from them, I'll have to pay the shipping cost and may be tax as well. So the price is very high, but I will have to order from them one day because I don't want to bother my friend to much, lol.
