need help planning a trip to the USA please

Ummm, I hear Chicago is pretty awesome :giggle

No really....I have only been to Disneyworld and all the surrounding tourist attractions but have been to Cali for other things (Sea World, Zoo, etc......)love both places!!!

Can we just trade houses for the summer? I SO want to take my family to Australia!!! I went there almost 10 years ago for a summer and am dying to go back with my family!!!
 
haha Kim, yes we could trade houses except that it won't be great weather down here at that time!
 
Kaye I don't know if you can get a hold of this book, but when we took our girls who were 4 & 2 at the time we used this book. I was also three months pregnant. There are some guides in the back and we used one of them. It REALLY helped us since we went during the US summer time and lines normally are busy. Because of this book we only waited 20+ minutes for one ride, the Toy Story Mania. The rest we almost walked on! Anyway if you can get a hold of it I would suggest looking at it. It helps with meal planning as well!
 
When we went to Disneyland in 2009, there were lots of Aussies there. I had fun chatting with one mom at the pool while her son played with my daughter. We stayed at HoJo Anaheim (love it). We didn't do anything but Disneyland and we were fine with it, but we plan another trip to San Diego in the next five years or so. Have a great trip Kaye!

We are planning a big trip to the US either the end of this year or next year but because Bella is in her last two years of High School we have to go during the December school holidays to spend any significant time there (we are hoping to spend 5 weeks there). We are hoping to fly in to LA then over to Florida to do Disney World and then travel (not sure how yet) up the East Coast to Washington and NY. Then over to Pennsylvania to see my bff Deb and then take the California Zephyr to San Fran and then drive down to Las Vegas and then back over to LA :). It's all in the planning stages at the moment and because we aren't sure about the weather we might have to do the trip in reverse ... we have friends over there right now doing MY trip (sigh!) and they are going to give me lots of travel trips!

I hope you have a marvelous time Kaye and I am super duper jealous and think of the great photos you will have! You will be able to scrap Disney kits now ROFL!!!
