Thank you to all who come to the 3PM EDT Slow Scrap chat and to everyone who participates in the Nicole's Slow Scrap!! You will have until 4PM EDT Saturday Sept. 11th to complete your page.

Everyone who completes their page according to the instructions will receive a coupon to Nicole's store.

Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery under Speed Scraps and link here in this thread so I make sure to give you credit.

GALLERY RULES: Layouts must contain at least 50% NBK products. (Templates count as 15%.) Uploads must be less than 250k. List all credits; no off-site linking allowed.

In the meantime lets get started with the instructions for the fun Slow Scrap:

The theme is to have fun with paints, brushes and the like (step 3) to add to the background to make a fun background for your layout. Nicole has so many great brushes and items in her collections so just have fun and experiment and play... Use different blending etc.. just enjoy!

Instructions:

1) at least 2 papers
2) 1 photo (or journal card for photoless page)
3) paints, transfers, brushes scribbles, loops
4) at least 8 elements
5) word art (as much as you wish)
6) journaling & date

Sorry I missed the chat, @cfile. And yes, this was a challenge for me. I decided to go with a photo less page. My elements are thread, wood stick, greenery, flower, bow, stitches, banner and staple. My two papers are from AC 30 - papers (the heart is one of them). I used paint from that category and my word art is placed atop the pocket card. Journaling (usually easy for me) was a stretch and based on the layout created. All requirements checked and here it is:

Mine , I finished it this morning, then had no time to post. Had fun with both with brushes and blending. Thanks for the chat
