NBK September Challenge *Closed - winners announced*

Hello!
Ann-Sofie here, bringing you the NBK Design September 2022 Challenge. I can’t believe it’s September already but I’m thinking that since this is the month of the Autumnal Equinox when day and night are equally long (on September 22), let’s make a divided layout. I want you to split the layout in two equal parts, it can be horizontal, diagonal or vertical, as long as the two parts are approximately equal size. It doesn’t have to be a sharp line, but I must be able to see two separate parts on your layout. I also want the two parts to have something that are opposites, it can be colors of the products used or themes on the photos; for example black/white, day/night, summer/winter, high/low, mom/dad or new/old. In addition, I want you to use at least five paints, splatters or scribbles on the layout (it can be five of the same or five different).

This is my layout made with artCrush no 30. As you can see, it’s divided in two distinct different parts, one with a big blended photo in the bottom and one part with smaller cards and photos. For the opposite part, I used two complementary colors, one on each half of the layout. I have also used a whole bunch of paint stains and scribbles on this layout.



Summary of instructions:

1. Split the layout in two
2. Use opposites on the two parts
3. Use at least five paints, splatters or scribbles on your layout

I’m so excited to see what you come up with for this challenge, I hope you find some time to make a layout.

Thanks, @Annsofie for this fun challenge. I took it literally using photos of two vastly different environments. I used 5 different art strokes (paints) and contrasting papers behind the photos. I think this meets all your requirements.
