Today is National Nachos Day. If I had known ahead of time, I might have made some for dinner tonight, but I don't think I have everything I need. I do love some nachos with beef, shredded cheese, jalapenos, and maybe some pico, guac, and sour cream YUM. I can't eat them with the melted cheese sauce due to an unfortunate night in college involving a bottle of Vodka and some gas station nachos at 3am :giggle. To this day, the cheese sauce turns my stomach.

Do you like nachos?
Lots of toppings or maybe just cheese sauce?
 
Nachos are the best! I’m sorry that one night has ruined cheese sauce for you because cheese sauce is the best way to do nachos. We recently enjoyed ballpark nachos at my daughter’s softball tournament and I think I need to go buy a can of cheese sauce now to make them at home.
 
Love nachos. Don't often eat them b/c of the carb count but every now and again I will have them, loaded with beef, cheese, olives and peppers and then dip into sour cream, guac and salsa. YUM!!!
 
I love nachos in every form -- except for maybe the cardboard-like ones you get at some stadiums. I strongly prefer real melted cheese over cheese sauce. And no sour cream for me. Otherwise, load it up with whatever you've got -- the spicier the better.
 
I make super simple nachos that I learned from a friend 30+ years ago ... melt Velveeta cheese with taco sauce ... although I've updated the taco sauce to salsa (wasn't available BTID) b/c I like a chunkier sauce.
 
I can't eat cheesy hot dogs for the same reason! I prefer nachos with real cheese (no canned cheese) and lots of toppings. Not sure if you have a Cafe Rio or Costa Vida near you, but their nachos are divine. They use real cheese and their queso dip. It's :tu.
 
I LOVE queso. I often say, cheese is going to be the death of me. I eat way too much of it. So yes, I like nachos. I am more of a chips and salsa gal, though...and regularly make my own salsa...have it for lunch. :eek
 
I love nachos with lots of toppings (diced tomatoes, diced red and green peppers, refried beans, salsa, guac, sour cream), but with an emphasis on the cheese! I prefer real cheese (I love how it melts into the chips), but I've also had cheese sauce versions that were quite tasty.

My whole family buys nachos at every sporting event we attend. I really wish I could enjoy them the way they do haha

I'm not a fan of Velveeta at all but I do prefer the salsa to taco sauce. I like it chunkier as well!

Oh man, I've heard so many great things about both those places and we don't have either one even remotely close to us.

Cheese will most definitely be the death of me as well! It just won't be death by cheese sauce :giggle

Gosh, I forgot the peppers! Love them as well.
 
I freaking love nachos... it's one of my favorites at our local Mexican place. So many different ways to enjoy them. I love steak... pork. Chicken.. cheese.. guac...sour cream.. burger.. tomatoes.. lettece...salsa verde.... beans.. you name it..mmmm now I'm craving nachos..drools
 
Love Nachos! I prefer real cheese. Like, Lisa, cheese will be my downfall, lol!

Now, I want nachos. For breakfast.

Jan, I have a thing about Skittles. I can eat literally one. Never again.
 
Lol. Darn college experiences ruining stuff. :giggle I like them almost exactly the way you listed them, except I do like the nacho cheese sauce better. Mmmmm... I may have to put those on the menu this week. Everyone love nacho night!
 
Love nachos, with a lot of melted cheese, and sometimes with avocado, but not with jalapeno, once a friend prepared some nachos here in Finland, like he said, it must be prepared, and put on them jalapeno, for sure they were prepared in good way, but I was unable to eat them.
