I don't know if I'll make it thru the day now that my Samsung Galaxy 4S died! I tried 3 different chargers and it still won't charge. And I'm the one that tells people to calm down and that 'it's just a phone'! Boy.....I'm eating some crow now b/c it's driving me nuts not to have my phone!!!! Hoping I can go get a replacement today. NO! I WILL get a replacement TODAY! Sad, huh?!?!?!

Ugh! I totally know that feeling! Last year my iPhone 5 died twice. It was seriously a worldwide emergency! lol! I hope you get your phone fixed!

I wouldn't survive without mine either. I totally sympathize with you and hope you get a replacement at lunch!

my HTC One x died several times last year. Like I had to replace it 3 times. It was torture. :tantrum

When my Elder Daughter was a toddler, she gave my iPhone a bath. I cried. Real tears.

My daughter was home last weekend and our cat knocked her phone on the floor. No big deal, right? After how many times she'd dropped it, THAT was the time the screen cracked. No new phone for her for a few months though.

Sooo....there is hope until I get my replacement tomorrow!!!!! Wahoooo!

I asked one of the guys in the office if he wouldn't mind swapping batteries so that he could charge my battery with his phone. I did figure out that the problem is with the charging port so I'll use my co-worker's battery while he charges my battery and then we'll swap later this afternoon before leaving work and at least I'll have a phone until my replacement gets here. Ahhhhh......I. Can. Breathe. :)

Ouch, that must really hurt. I never understood people clinging on their phones, but once I had my smartphone, I realized why.
And I believe I would have a really hard time too.
Glad to read this hre, on monday we were talking about it and I was the only one who admitted I'd miss it if I hadn't it for a week!:hissy

Oh I totally get that....I would be so bummed and frustrated. I don't cope well when my electronics don't work (phone, laptop, pc, tablet). I just need everything to work....all the time. I don't do well with down time ;)

I get that :(
I don't have a smart phone as am bed bound 90% of my time but when my Mac keyboard went dead..... I got Sarita in the car and we drove 40 minutes (rush hour) to the Mac store to get a new one.....
I guess we depend a LOT more than what we think on machines.....

I'd be terrible without mine,I'm lost if it's not in my hand when we're out so I sympathise with you and hope you get a new one fast

Gosh, how did they do that 60 years ago????
