Many of you know, I went back to college in January. I work 36hrs/week & have an 8yr old & 5yr old. I started school at the end of MOC & still finished! A few weeks in, I stepped out of class to take a call, my 5yr old was diagnosed with ADHD. Around midterms, a dream was realized when I joined Gina Miller's CT as a guest. A month later she told me I could stick around. iNSD coincided with finals. I literally scrapped & wrote, & scrapped & wrote.
I'm babbling, but I want to say thank you. I got so much support from all you. I couldn't have gotten through all this without scrapping with all my TLP peeps. I love you with all my heart.

@Tree City it does. I'm one of those people who thinks I'm never doing enough, no matter what. It just feels so good to finally feel like life is coming together.

@jenn mccabe Summer semester starts on Monday. They're online classes though for a diversity requirement. One is The Age of Technology & the other is Chinese Food & Hospitality. They're only a month long. Then, I can fully enjoy summer 'til everything starts up again in August. I did already buy the ride wristbands for the county fair on the 15th. This weekend Jamie is turning six, so we're going to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk amusement park. The cub scouts have a pack picnic, a swimming party, & horseback riding this summer. It's going to be so much fun & so scrap worthy!
I wondered if maybe you were taking summer classes when I wrote that! Well at least you will have some true time off in August before it all starts up again. Sounds like a full and festive summer for you guys! (oh and I used to take my kids to Santa Cruz when they were little! I miss it! Now I'm on the opposite coast! Have a super weekend!)

Good for you!!! I went back to school when my girls were 2 and 6. I was a single mom and it was rough but we all have fond memories of those times. You are setting a great example for your kids and you should be so proud of those grades! Being able to scrap and be on a CT on top of school and motherhood is just awesome.
Thank you and I have no idea! This is San Francisco, maybe there's a field trip to Chinatown. Kinda hoping my assignment is go to restaurants & write reviews. We'll see. I'm sure I'll be scrapping about it next month.
wow Jess, when do you sleep!? Congrats on those grades, that's really impressive, especially with all your other commitments!! Hope you get some time to relax over the summer

I went back to studying when my kids were little but at least I didn't have to work and my kids at that stage were low maintenance - what you have done is amazing!
Jess, you know I loved you from the minute you came in here..... I love it that we have so much in common, I feel you like a proper sister... and I am so so very proud of you.....!!!!!!!!! though I wasn't expecting less , that is for sure!
I know you know I fell the same way about this community....doesn't matter how much we are going through, these amazing people are always helping us push forward.....
