(and yep, I am probably the last one to the party on this - lol!)

I had a quick stroke of brilliance (just the one) that has made life simpler getting everything posted for MOC - it makes me happy every time I use it, so I thought I should share! :giggle

if you go to your own MOC thread and copy the address from the bar, you can go into your profile and link your "I'm ready for MOC" signature up to take you straight there. Then, you can post in the gallery, copy the link to the image from there, post it in the correct thread for the challenge, then bam! click the signature and it will take you to your own thread to post the link there! (way quicker than searching for your own name and/or thread in the beautiful chaos that is the MOC forum!)

this has been made way easier to do with the changes to the linking that happened within the past few weeks. click user CP, edit signature, then you can either copy the file address and click the link tool to add the link, or click the link tool first and make a text link to go there.

I bookmarked. But linking your siggy is a great idea - everyone can check out your MOC layouts quickly! :)

Yes...after a few times of scrolling though, I did this too. Thank goodness for shortcuts!
 
This is a great tip. Never thought of linking the image in my siggy. I do have it bookmarked to save my sanity! :giggle
 
Somehow couldn't get my image to link but it's underneath. Any I love this idea, too bad I couldn't execute it. maybe ill try again later when the children are sleeping off their WW3.
 
Since I'm new to the Forum, I just click my profile and click "All Started Threads". It's the only thread I've started. :)

I'll figure out how to set up a signature at some point....
 
Great idea! I had a bookmark after day one of looking through the long list of everyone's pages, but the siggy is smart too! :)
