I missed the thread for this before. MOC always gets us thinking about challenges. I loved Sissy Sparrows challenge with the photo where you wrote a story. Loved that. Miss it terribly.:imok

I like new technique challenges because they challenge me...:dizzy

I don't like 2 page spreads!!! How about you?

Last year, I had two favorite challenges - Out of the Box by @AnneofAlamo and the Puppet Tool Challenge (Is that the name?) by @Karen!

LOL! I love Doubles, White Space, and Technique. I also think that challenges that push me are fun though might be hard! My struggle is the Pocket Pages and Art Journaling. I can do them, but I prefer the others. I also struggled with the Quick page challenge... but loved how that turned out.

Even though I might have a tough time, struggle or even fly through a challenge, I remember making every page and seeing the gallery light up with love and people!

I don't think I have a favorite kind of challenge. I might have some I excel at better than others, but I've always looked at challenges as a way to either get me out of my comfort zone or at least as a starting point to get me scrapping.

I do have some that are harder for me personally, art journal and pocket style come to mind. Art is hard for my analytical brain and pocket you'd think would be perfect, but while art seems too "messy" to me, pocket seems too "strict" to me.

I can't remember all of them from last year but anne's (bc it was so fun to look through the gallery and see all the awesome pages created with that technique!) and karen's stick out as big faves for me too. i still use karen's trick all the time to move parts of scatters or confetti or plaint splatters about - so they fit my page better. it has changed my scrapping life!

I'm pretty sure mine this year is one of the tough ones! :backing

It isn't called a challenge for nothing! :giggle The tough ones always "make" me create layouts I LOVE!
PS... I use Karen's all the time. Super easy!

I love challenges, even the ones that take 3 hr to finish. :giggle aka Jan 6: this is my song
The MOC is perfect for me right now, I am about 1500 pics
behind in 2015. phew to many grand kids

Yay @jk703 and @jenn mccabe ! I'm so glad you liked that puppet warp tutorial! I love that feature too!

I think template challenges are probably the easiest for me, but like a lot of you have said, I really do love the challenges that step me outside my comfort zone and make me work or learn!

I know today's challenge isn't going to be easy, but I have been thinking about it all day long! I'm hoping that the idea in my head will come out onto the page and be as funny as I hope! :)

I love all the challenges! It's so great when I am forced out of my comfort zone. Even if it's hard for me or takes me a long time, I always come away with a layout I love and new tools to use :)

I love Scraplifts, I have to admit, loved and miss that challenge from the Sparrows, to make up the story for the photo..... I loved Anne's challenge last year it was about OOB technique.... loved it last year and I am SURE you all are going to LOVE what she has planed this year!!!!!!! heheheheheheheh

I'm falling asleep (03:22 am!!) but just wanted to at least pop in say hi.... be back tomorrow!!!!

I'm usually open to just about any kind of challenge. I'm a teensy bit worried that there will be a challenge that is focused on techniques so specific to Photoshop that I wont't be able to do because it's not available in my digital software.

Ususally, any technique that is expected to be done is universal. If not, then they have alternate ideas for those that use different software! It will all work out! :)

I love challenges in general. The more structured, the better. I too loved Anne's challenge last year, even though I didn't know what she was talking about at first. The puppet tool was super hard for me. I had to use CS instead of PSE, & I'm just not a fan of CS. It is a cool technique though. I love blind scraps. I've gotten much better at white space.

I really really don't like to scraplift. It's hard for me to adopt someone else's style. And I never feel like I've done the artist/page justice. I still don't know how I'm going to put together today's challenge.

I love all of them as I love being given a starting point. Like @jk703 I nearly always end up loving the pages I've found the most challenging - weird! Fav from last year was the list one (can't remember who did it though :blush) and I absolutely hate quick pages lol.

I guess I like them all. For me it's good when there is something like a scraplift or a template in between some of the more technical challenges. I get bogged down trying to be technically perfect.
